That’s what makes first take unique now because a lot of times they agree but it’s authentic and that’s what the fans want.
He gave Brady plenty of props he just didn’t hall him as perfect and unable to play poorly like Skip did. Skip was such an extreme homer for Tom he made real takes surrounding Tom look like hate. Even saying how Tom was successful here, that reasonable people see as respect, wouldn’t have been enough for Skip. Anything outside of unadulterated worship of Tom was an argument from Skip

Last year is not the same mentality the Niners are in this year and last year playoff game we lost against the eagles was because Brock Purdy was injured and did not play the whole game and when they put him back in he couldn’t throw we had no choice but to put in CMC as a QB for a couple of throws . This conversation reminds me of the Packers in 2019. They got demolished by the 49eres in the regular season. 37-8. A complete beatdown. Rodgers and the rest of them promised it won't be the same in the playoffs. It was 34-7 after three quarters with Mostert setting records against them. The packers were able to cut it back to a more respectable 37-20...
If they face each other in the playoffs with their current rosters, it will be the same result again. The cowboys will spend the week talking, promising it will be different, they're coming for revenge, only to get embarrassed on an either bigger stage.
