This new Star Wars documentary looks great
Its about as real as Star Wars also. No different from a Mexican Tele.
Zachary Handcrafted Guitars blabla you never had one in your hands I bet
The Fender Jedicaster 😎
😂😂😂😂😀😀😀😀
😎🎸🔥
@@fender Guys, a Fender/Star Wars collaboration...that could be huge!
George Lucas can shred!
😂😂😂😂
:-)
😄😄
Yes, very much so
My favorite comment on CZcams right now
That’s a guitar that’s definitely worth going into debt for.
Absolutely!!!
Impeach Pelosi (great name!)..I agree, totally. I have the 60th Anniversary Strat & would love to have this as my first Tele!
Only if you are a dummy and don't know much about guitars.
Which would be like 90% of the guitar consumers.
I have this baby and boyyyyyy is she sweet!!!!!!!! The neck is so fat and homey and comfy!!
@@joechristopher5803 Congrats, bro! Enjoy!
That just sounds FANTASTIC.
I like “The Stumble” at the end. The first time I heard that song was Peter Green (RIP) playing it on “A Hard Road” by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. Of course, that album eventually lead to the formation of Fleetwood Mac.
Mr. Sharp worked extensively with Bob Welch, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, and Billy Burnette in the ‘70s-‘80s.
How about The Supernatural from that LP? Wow!
@@anthonyc1883 Peter Green was a beast! "Curly" shows he could've out Hendrix-ed Jimi if he'd wanted to.
And Todd Sharp played with Hall And Oats. He's a badass sho' 'nuff.
Hey Todd! Thank you for 'Love Will Show Us How' with Christine McVie. Hot tune!
That axe is so beautiful, and those pickups sound so good, I had to get one
That neck pickup sound glorious
That guitar, plugged into that amp, sounds amazing.
That is a beautiful instrument, wish I could afford one!
Krythix I was just playing Spirit Tracks for nostalgia and then I see ur pfp 😂
everybody gangsta till *(gentle guitar music)* comes on
My favorite guitarist playing my favorite guitar... ! ! ! \m/
The playing is just as beautiful as the aesthetics of this instrument and it's sounds. Unreal allround...fabulous!!!
We appreciate that! 🤘
It sells for $1999.99. If it is a high quality made guitar with a great fret job, it is worth the price.
So, the Telecaster is 70 in everything but name.
Think about it, this is a guitar design that has lasted and remained popular well within 70 years!
This has nothing to do with the original Broadcaster, except for the shape.
That you can get for $300 or less.
I’ve never heard a Broadcaster (Tele, you know!) sound like that. I’m not impulsive but wow.
Its a professionally produced commercial. Bring your guitar, any guitar and it will sound like that.
Its meant to deceive the dummy like you.
It's a post 2012 AV 52 Telecaster with a tinted neck and a different headstock decal. But those are great guitars :)
Sounds amazing! But so do the 2 Teles I already own : )
True im gonna buy my self a tele soon so im excited to hear what it sounds!
@@Oatmealyum I was looking for a tele for ages and couldnt find one that ticked all the boxes, I got one of these imported to NZ and it is incredible. If you want a tele with a little more to it, get one of these
@@hash_bandicoot2 thanks for the advice
@@Oatmealyum It sounds good as its produced in this commercial?
You have some learning to do. You are sure easily fooled.
I make the best Teles in the world.
@@zacharyhandcraftedguitars you make the ugliest guitars on the face of the earth.
Carry on.
Drooling...
You are easily fooled. You must watch CNN also and believe it.
Awesome guitar and great playing! :)
Nice!
You sound great!
Picked mine up a week ago. It's fantastic!
Now compare it to a Mexican Tele or a copy and see what you say.
Congrats! 🎸🔥
@@zacharyhandcraftedguitars afraid I've only got a 72 thinline and a custom Shop tele with EMGs (flat head tele) to compare it to... I did play the vintera and ultra series before buying the broadcaster and I much preferred the broadcaster.
@@Fraaip Compare it to what I make by hand. I dare you. I have a series of 4 Tele-style Zach's that I built recently, which I still need to post on my website. I am the one who carries Fender forward, Not this big conglomerate, which has nothing to do with the original Fender company.
I don't have a professional studio to record though. Just a pocket camera.
@@zacharyhandcraftedguitars Send me one haha!
Forget the guitar, where can I get a jacket like that?
Awesome playing! Nice sound!
Great demo 🎸 ⭐ 🎸 ⭐ 🎸 ⭐
Very nice Tele! Great demo too. Thanks! I love the way a good Telecaster sounds.
Thanks Fender, I love yall's guitars.
Appreciate your support! 🤘🎸
I love how people want an exact replica for $600.
It’s technically possible to replicate the specs and make it high quality except you’d have to move production to another country, nothing included and Fender would have to barely profit.
They refuse to broadcast the price...
2.499 Euros on Amazon
$2000 USD on Sweetwater, pretty much the same as an American Original 50s Tele
1,999.99 on their website
2K at least for a mass produced body and neck off the CNC machine, coated in plastic.
Pure marketing BS for the dummy.
Just bought this guitar, got it for 1700, pro tip: call or email stores to negotiate price... they are dealers after all.
I was wondering what he's been up to since Disney bought the rights. Love this guitar!
Mint 🤘🎸
Got my three get them before there gone
I saw an unboxing of this guitar. The aforementioned "vintage wiring kit" is composed of a resistor and a wiring diagram. Misleading, well... I still love fender guitars I can't help it
great end video with Freddy king!!
What is the name of that last song on this video?
@@danielstoddart stumble
Agreed! 😎🎸🔥
Amazing sounding guitar. Really nice guy and a great player!! That coat just felt too much like I was watching the Joker from Batman.
I play a 72 fender Telecaster on outkast album's
Really? I gotta look this up! I had no idea they would hire session musicians in their songs!!
@@skillracoonful look it up
🔥🔥🔥🎸
Just checked at Amazon, there is ONE of those left :)
Be cool, I ain't buying :)
Muito bonita 👋👋👋
why isn't this video listed
How do they not ship this with the original Broadcaster wiring in place? You can buy any number of telecasters with the modern switching system. It would seem one of the whole points of issuing a guitar and calling it the "Broadcaster" would be to give the actual vintage experience of that particular instrument.
My point, exactly, Dan.
My point, exactly, Dan.
Dan, look up 'The Trogly's Guitar Show' video for Feb 22nd & Austin does a great demo on this. czcams.com/video/9e_5tl28JiM/video.html&feature=em-uploademail...The 'kit' Fender mentions is only a different resistor than what's installed.
@@john564holloway I saw that, actually. People like me would not be comfortable even trying to install that.
@@dsholt Me, too. I can do a compete set-up but getting into the electronics, wiring & soldering is frightening!
they dropped the ball big time not releasing these with a thermometer tweed case!!! IF you are going to do it, do it right!
So true. My now-sold Custom Shop Nocaster from the very late 1990s had the thermometer case.
Thought the whole point of acquiring such an axe would be to get the vintage sound with it. The vintage-spec kit should've been in their from the beginning...Overall, nice demo, Todd.
the vintage is where the middle position activates only the neck pickup then when the selector is forward it is a muffled bass sound. Its not a sound many had or have use for. Clapton's Blind Faith tele had this and is why his selector is on middle at the Hyde park concert. Not many had use for it and you cant get the two pickup combination with it.
@@TheScottmgreen Interesting! Thx, Scott!
Actually you can get both with the broadcaster setup. The tone knob is a blend knob that blends the neck and bridge.
7 1/4 inch neck with larger frets. You should do more of those.
Hello there!, What ist the recomended string gauge for this this Broadcaster?
The "vintage wiring kit" is hilarious. It's a 15k ohm resistor. That's it!
Why isn't this video public?
Hello Fender, I suggest you how to find a perfect tone for Stratocaster for beginners please?
Play that guitar now
Is this guitar just for this year? Based on this bloody virus im not gonna get one in the uk this year. Obviously there are more things to worry about just wondering if fender may make this guitar next year as well
Hey Indiana...!
-George Lucas
The other demo video demonstrates the original Broadcaster electronics and is much better- be sure to check it out if you want to see the infinite tone options available not demonstrated here. Cheers! P[>
I think the team built version should have the original wiring installed, and the standard wiring kit in the case, as that really sets it apart from other Teles.
so only the decal is different?
You got it. Are you the only one here with brains?
Looks like a Tele to me
No different. Buy Mexican. Or Indonesian now. For $300
Zachary Handcrafted Guitars I only buy Mexican fenders. The step up from Asian to Mexi is 10 fold and from Mexi to US is slim
@@gunkanjima3408 Smart guy you are.
This is such a sham.
Hey Fender! How are you guys allowed to use the Broadcaster name? Is it because you now work together with Gretsch? I assume that it's licensed for use or you've made some sort of agreement? I don't see it listed in Fenders registered trademarks. Thanks!
Lol Fender owns Gretsch . Gees.
Is this the same Todd Sharp the amp builder? Is there a Fender Sharp collaboration in the works? If there was a lawsuit from Gretsch over the name before how is it okay to re-release it now? Is it due to the lapse of time? Just wondering...
Fender owns Gretsch now.
Rolf?
Can you guess what it is yet
Nice guitar but shame the case isn’t period correct and perhaps heavier strings to give a true vintage feel. Do we really want to hear all the modern effects-how about good old tone and volume swells to make the player work for the sound?
The sound and looks are stunning but the price isn´t :/
So basically, this is just a standard Telecaster with slotted screws. Talking about "period correct" features, it's missing a few like the original Broadcaster steel saddles, the smaller .078" wide frets, the milled jack cup and also the narrow spacing of the dots at the 12th fret and the slightly uneven string ferrules.
A $2000 "replica" that they didn't even bother to include the closer 12th fret markers and the maple truss rod plug on.
THAT SHIT WAS FUNNY
that white is off
Why does this guy look like Elton John to me
Are they even allowed to call it the Broadcaster?
Obviously they can or they wouldn't be. 🤷♂️ It's not 1950 anymore.
Fender owns Gretsch so I mean
@@Rabidswatchief88 Fender does NOT own Gretsch. this is a completely false information. FMIC does only distribute and advertise Gretsch guitars and drums, this is a HUGE difference. Read it up.
Fender even makes custom Gretsch guitars in the custom shop but it's still owned by the Gretsch family.
Gretsch still retains ownership while FMIC handles most of the development, distribution and sales. So I imagine theyve got some sort of agreement or licensing in place, even though they're spelled differently.
I checked Fender registered trademarks and there's no Broadcaster listed so it's not anything they own. So, yes, it's likely they've got licensing or an agreement with Gretsch now that they work together.
$1,999 most dealers
Who cares about that guitar, where can I buy that coat!
Let’s hope the quality is better than on my brand new American Original 60’s Strat
What do you mean? What's wrong with your Strat?
ALT3REDB3AST it took four Strats before one was “almost” free of issues. The last one still needs a new nut since the first string is too near the fret board edge. The others had paint issues and edges chipped at the neck joint. Not small issues - how they got past their QC is concerning for £1,600
Its not different, except for the junk you don't need, like the engraved neck plate.
so it's yet another tele with a different name? no thanks, got five already.
Ok, it’s a nice looking and sounding Guitar. I just don’t think it’s worth the price tag.
Guitars are no more a cool thing to the young kids nowadays.
The BS level for this model is off the charts.
These guys that play for Fender are terrible. Michael Lemmo would put them to shame.
I like Lemmo's playing quite a bit but there are certain guitars that just beg to be played period-correctly, like this one. Lemmo does tons of loopy, spacey stuff on just about every guitar he plays.
