I agree, it's really been fun, the other night when they were taking shots it was a riot.
Seriously. It's almost like being at one of those old school Friar's Club roasts - just a bunch of comedy writer/performer friends hanging out and cracking jokes about each other and current events. The lack of polish actually makes the show way funnier. It's so much more relaxed when they don't have to be "on" and follow a strict timetable or script.
@@ktom5262 Colbert is a comedic genius but right now his show still feels a bit awkward without people to banter with. He should at least have his crew in the studio to riff off of and laugh at his jokes. Makes the whole thing feel more relaxed.

I have to agree - aside from specific bits like crosswalk musicals and so forth - the show never seemed very good before.
@@francescaa8331 Especially the opening monologue which was never particularly great in my opinion. however, since the covid restriction, it got exponentially better. It looks somewhat improvised (maybe its not) like Craig Ferguson used to do.
@@abukar1993 It’s because of interaction between him and the band and crew. When he did standard monologues before COVID I didn’t think they were that funny. It’s like he was trying too hard to be something he’s not.
I would hope so. The quality and quantity of material available has been improving ridiculously these last couple years

I’m not gonna lie, in the beginning when Corden was trying too hard he put me off. But now he’s more comfortable and the show has a relaxed vibe he pulls off his brand of humor very well. Quickly becoming my favorite late night show even if I only watch it online on snippets in the morning before work.
Covid or not, keep it like this. The show is so much better now. I laugh constantly. Don't change back. :)

You do know James corden remade his British show "a league of their own" in America it was called "Game on" and they had Ian Karmel on the show as a regular host. You should check it out. It was on CBS in the summer.

Pre-emptive pardons? Does this means they can commit any federal crime and not ever face consequences. This doesn’t make sense. Should only work for someone who has already been convicted and is serving time or has served time.

ambergris ...when they outlawed it in the usa they started using synthetic aldehydes in perfumes the first being channel #5....it was the first perfume my mother was allergic to...many of the synthetic aldehydes are a problem for many people...
