Am Nigerian and have followed The Daily Show for about 5 years now online, although I miss Trevor Noah, im glad i have been able to get to know so many comic acts, i never knew, and i hope it continues for a while longer before a permanent position comes.
I mean Trevor Noah wasn't funny but this woman makes him look hilarious in comparison. They both have atrocious opinions and bigotry either way.

I noticed the endless shrimp promo a few months ago. This time it was also take out. I went every week for a while. Told friends and family. Not shocked they lost millions.

Abortions are only acceptable when they have them, in republicans' eyes.
A fascinating read is "The Only Moral Abortion Is My Abortion," although it is infuriating in parts.

As someone who works in retail, the Fox headline that caught my eye but didn't get sound was "Why are grocery checkouts so complicated?" They aren't, you're just bad at it, impossibly impatient, or both.
They have to play to their Boomer audience. Not to mention the young Repubs who are terrible with technology because they were raised by religious fundamentalists.

Side note, I think Michelle Wolf is the only woman in the world that someone could tell me she's black, or someone could tell me she's Irish, and I would believe them either way.
Yeah, I used to work at a bar close to downtown, and for a while the boss was doing a free appetizers buffet during happy hour, and put peel and eat shrimp on it. All the lawyers would hit the bar at 5 on Friday (the day we did it), and be piling MOUNDS of shrimp on their plates while they drank. The boss finally realized he was getting soaked and stopped it.

I was in Oahu and I got handed a flier for Red Lobster endless shrimp. I laughed and said, I'm in Hawaii. Y'know? Home of some really great Japanese food, including the best sushi I've had in my life? Which begs the question, Why is there a Red Lobster in Honolulu? 🤔
It's for idiot mainland Americans who live in rural areas and boring suburbs of small cities, and are barely brave enough to go on vacation in another state. I was on a business trip with a guy in Chicago, and he wanted to eat at an Olive Garden. I said, "Are you effing kidding me? Do you know how many mom and pop and family Italian restaurants there are in Chicago?"

Red lobster just shows that we are destroying our oceans. That was a lot of creatures being removed permanently. How is our planet going to recover from that much fishing?
It's not. The major capitalists have figured out they could promote conservation and stay wealthy or just go for broke and keep getting wealthier and the next generations not their problem. Really there's more than overfishing that's gonna make our oceans a cesspool pretty quick...C02 absorption is raining acidity which will in short order prevent shell formation anf collapse the entire ecosystem along with microplastics making fish toxic to consume long term as well as so many other toxins less publicized but just as bad. The more I look into it the more it seems like humanity is such a drain on the world as a whole that our civilization is progressing to a point of near collapse. When it gets close it will happen suddenly as all the problems from climate change to fossil fuel shortages to lifeless oceans goes from theoretical to endemic seemingly overnight
