- Norah is a Chinese comedian living in Shanghai. She has performed over 700 shows across China, US, Thailand and Japan. She’s even opened for US headliners such as Mark Normand and Kate Willett.
Of course Norah has also been a part of the team here at Mamahuhu since 2018, appearing in over 12 episodes.
Today is admittedly less than average as we are joining Norah on the debut of her first ever headline tour.
An Average Day is a low-fi series where we hang out with interesting people for the day.

Love the average day series
Norah was the first comedian to make fun of me at a show :) Her crowd work is so good!
I met Nora about 6-7 times, she was never this sweet, when she gets on that stage, she's coming for you. Also, my favorite comedian in Shanghai.
This was a cool vid! Love getting the looks into daily life and and learning about China through these
This is freaking amazing!!!! Loved it!
This series is my favorite. It's why I subscribed!! Hope for more!!
I love Norah she's so talented. I hope I get to see her perform live one day.
hahaha real local Chinese dad. and theyre speaking Shanghainese! :)
哈哈 I thought that might be Shanghainese - wondered why I couldn't understand a word! 谢谢
I really loved this. Keep up the great work. This episode was very insightful. Nora is really good hopefully she comes to the UK one day.
she has such a magnetic personality. i hope she has shows lined up in shanghai soon!
This was so amazing. I love the average day series, but it'a also great to see Norah develop as a person and as a character! really appreciate all the videos, keep up the great content!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Being funny is a very serious job. It's always hard to predict what a certain crowd will find funny.
She is Funny & Adorable!!! Have Happy Nice Activity!!! Yay 🙆🙆🙆
Keep going Norah you are killing it!
Norah, has always been the one we've waited for to steel our heart and show our mind.
Loved Norah's work in 3 of your videos I saw with her (She was hilarious in the English Teacher from Canada) Now that clubs are open again I plan to go see her stand-up
I love the average day series
Love how the first two rides weren't Didi, you tricked us 😂
She’s very funny... it’s epic that she’s doing shows all over the world and her dad still thinks of it as a hobby 😂😂😂dads 🙄speed trains don’t run late night ?
Considering the safety, the CRH train is not running in the early morning, and there will be a safety inspection train before the first passenger train every day.
I love Norah and all of you guys thanks for making these videos
Thanks for watching!
I love this series
Really nice video !
Really interesting! That's a jam-packed day
what an amazing work ethic
SOO GOOD
looking at all this footage I really miss Shanghai.
Nice to get to know about the crew
I thought China doesn't have stand up comedy, but now i know they have. Love this series.
really curious, are there any sources for the expert saying China's shopping mall boom is a bubble? the rate at which these malls have been going up is crazy, markets I went to as a kid are now replaced by these huge structures that don't stop proliferating.
To tell the truth, i had a little crush of norah since her appearance in "diet with aying"
03:59, how to access her wechat fan group?
Where can i see stand-up in Shanghai.Does anyone know some cool spots
Reminds of a good frined in my arts university some years ago...
Didnt know Liu Qian had given up his magician path
Anyone can tell me where I can watch Norah's shows? Both English and Chinese stand ups are fine
Here at my CZcams channel :)
@@NorahComedy yay didn't even know you have one
Hope she comes too London Uk
前几天看脱口秀大会总觉得Norah眼熟但是又想不起来在哪见过,今天突然想起来在马马虎虎的视频里见过
Nice episode ! I appreciate the "average day..." Series !
I want to try stand up comedy in China...
noraaaaaah
as a Chinese i can't understand what her father said...I only know Norah said "bye bye"
Nice
How to become a comedian in China
1. Wear a onesie everywhere.
Famous comedian? Who is more famous than Doudou. Haha
Has she got any sets online? Maybe host one on this channel one day?
Yup some are on my CZcams channel
🤣
Was this video filmed recently? Are people congregating in bars and auditoriums in Shanghai?
It was filmed in December but a lot of bars and restaurants are back to normal in Shanghai.
these videos r cool
Are there any of her shows online?
Check out my CZcams channel here
Wish I could understand other languages. It's interesting to see what is considered funny.
Noooorraaaaaahhh!!
Is this channel still active? Their last video was 6 months ago?
Taking a break, doing some stuff elsewhere.
Will's Gym is generally well maintained and has good equipment. The only problem is their sale is trying to milk every dollar from your, and they are trying rob (literally) you by charge you the prolonged membership without your consent. And please don't even mention their PT, a lot of chubby beer drinkers trying to convince me to get him as my personal training, maybe his" profession fitness program" serves his body well, I guess.
How much is the membership and PT sessions?
nice lady.
Детерминизм это Свобода 🤙
Tough job.
wow. That's a long day.
Yes it was!
First time I see the stand up comedian speaking in Chinese. It looks good by the audience reaction.
Norah is 32😱
I am surprised someone is named 'laughing'
Bf here refers to boy friend or best friend?
Big foot
So you're not active anymore.. ㅠㅠ
We may be back .
李诞说他要全球巡演,我看他别演了,Norah 演吧,观众群会大很多。另外多参加国外的comedy festival,今年因为疫情,墨尔本的取消了。明年来啊!
搞半天是个滴滴的广告视频
Didi sponsored this video right
Makes me really regret moving to America from China. Went from a wealthy landlord and higher ed family in China back in the 90s, to trading $10+ yuan for just $1 to a piss poor basement dweller with skills uncertified in America. Gave up all the infinite potential for the family to explode the business in China, just for a country that doesn’t even appreciate us, is cruel to Asians, brainwashed by media, and is a land with much lower opportunity due to a developed society that’s already much more optimized in ever level (meaning less opportunities to optimize and make business, sure it’s good from a per capita quality of life standpoint). Now I just work as a management consultant (which I suppose is considered successful in American to have a 6 figure salary for the more common masses) and have become a salary man.
This was not the life we thought America would give us. Gave everything up in a booming, and comfortable country just to get limited by a developed one that looks down on us.
Really wish I could go back to China. Hopefully more Western professional service firms open shop in China in a more predominant way (outside of just big 4 and banks). Seems like it will eventually happen given how much China has opened up.
you make six figures? i appreciate this comment i think you are speaking the truth
ZDY stop whining making excuses., just go back .. everyone can cry about their mistakes , do something about it
@@FrankiePacino already looking to as my last sentence inferred.
Some of us don't choose our mistakes (ie. It's not my decision to come here)
From what I’ve heard China isn’t ‘opening up’ it is actually becoming far more inward looking, many foreign owned businesses and residents have left places like Shanghai
LOL "brainwashed by media" .... something tells me you'll get a rude shock living in China. Make sure you have a VPN handy.
Who's here from Reddit??
also, never make any jokes against the CCP or you will be the next Jackie Ma
