- We deal with the worst drought we have seen while working at Eagles Nest, making it incredibly tough to produce good duck food. We resort to high diesel and running the power units to provide the duck food we do have with a drink of water. We also try and plant millet for the ducks with rain coming in, only to see it not germinate. It has been a dry one to say the least!

No rain at all. Hoping the forecast gives us something soon. I don’t have water to pump onto the rice, and no rain in sight. We need a miracle.

Haha. Sound like he’s joking. But I was working on moist soil this weekend in LA and thought man it is lovely out here today. 90 with a slight breeze. Amazing what u can get use to.

I hate pig weed to being a farmer myself nothing harder to keep a bay than them suckers I'm definitely impressed by how y'all do things for the ducks hopefully I'll find time to get me some plots done for ducks one day sure love them green tops

AccuWeather is the only weather app I use 100% accurate 100% of the time anywhere I go up here in the Northeastern. You guys ever think about switching the corn and rice fields?
No because where we grow corn is not very suitable for where we grow rice vice versa
AccuWeather forecast is a 75% chance of bs everyday. They are worse than local news stations with weather

@@ihuntdeer60 I own a landscaping business and my schedule is dictated by mother nature. AccuWeather has consistently been the least accurate forecast for the last 20+ yrs where I live

No app, just tire tracks

What spray do use to spray millet
2-4d but the millet needs to be 20-30 days old. It’ll hurt it if not
