Today I ordered the Nisstec gonemoab lift kit for my '13 P4X. Gonna need some tires soon. I'll come see you for those. Cool videos, I can't wait for more.
Looks great!! I have started on my 2016 Frontier Pro 4X. 2" suspension lift through springs swap from All Dogs Off-road Coop. Very happy with it. LT285/75r16 Patagonia tires. Air compressor for tire deflation/reinflation. X-Bull traction boards. Next, front bumper and winch. Rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. I am very impressed with what you have done!!! Great job and keep wheeling on!
Looks sweet thanks for sharing nice for a fellow snow outdoorsman showcasing his build
"Old man Emooo" 😂 great build man, always nice to see some other people's builds
Nissans are great vehicles for people who like to work on vehicles. A lot.
Great build. Good for you.
Enjoyed your video. Love the Frontier. Hope many more Frontier owners make videos as well. A damn nice truck that is underrepresented. 2020 Pro4x midnight black new v-6 engine with 9 speed tranny. Instant classic!
Good stuff. Similar to my set up. I’m prob going with titan swap in next couple months. Should be a blast. Cheers from Cali.
Saw your truck on Instagram and jumped on here. Truck looks great bro!
Aaron Blanco Thank you so much!
What's the gram
Nice build dude! Can’t wait for future vids
Thank you!
I like the color. Paints in great shape.
Thanks! It could use a wax and it would be even better, I’ve scratched it up a bit haha
Nice looking truck. Very good video.
Thank you!
SPC upper control arm looks cracked at the ball joint. Looks nice makes me want to get a Nissan truck again.
Nice truck. Good video
nice build, similar than my d40'07 for route overland, in europe, white, hardshell and roof tent, and +200kg leaf springs
Love that grill guard, I have a 17 Pro-4x and have been looking into one like that.
Love my ARB!
Love the spare tire setup. Good job on the truck!
Thank you!
Great stuff!
Thanks, that’s a good looking rig you have!
Good video, thanks for sharing!
OverlandTrax Appreciate it, thank you!
That camper shell is awesome. I would love to have one but in black!
Thanks! It came with the truck
What’s up man. Saw you earlier on NorCal 4x4 and now just stumbled upon this video. Nice walk around. I’ll be doing a video of my truck soon as well.
Nice! Good to have another fronty owner nearby, I'll keep and eye out for your vid!
nice set up... since u cut your bumper, maybe seek out 2005 to 2007 Frontier bumper trim (the ones with metal bumpers, the plastic trim piece is seperate) maybe you can adapt those to your application. and redo that cut 😁. new sub from Ontario, 🇨🇦👍👍
Finally one that isn’t a pro4x. Thinking about getting one of these most likely the SV trim if I go the frontier route
Mine is the same model. Doesn't look as good as his just yet but it will soon!
I have an SV 4x4 and its stupendous.
Nice build.. We've tested the Bils had had lots of issues with them unless you keep them set at 1" You need to get so rock sliders ;) Good content
Gotcha, that makes sense! They are good and affordable for what they are but definitely going to need to upgrade. Do you like the MK84's? Been eyeballing them as a replacement until I T-Swap. Also I'm about to place an order with Dezert Runner very soon for some sliders so I'm stoked about that!
Awesome truck!
Thank you!
Nice rig.
Some advice on the CB. People still work on those things. You can easily get it fixed or barter it with some boot for a better one.
Nice job.🙂👍☕
Nice truck
Great truck, I have 2.5 radflo with 600lbs springs, I am very happy on my 17 frontier, 9500 lbs winch and 130lbs shockworks bumper. it’s like. Mini Raptor
Is the Shockworks the light weight? Made of aluminum?
@@Sig721Tau nope steel
Nice truck fella. I made a bedrack for my Frontier last summer and switched to a camper shell recently. Bed rack looks cool but I much prefer having my gear locked up inside the canopy covered box when we are out adventuring. Just some food for thought
That makes complete sense, I agree! I would like to have the bed rack as an option but the camper will always be my default for sure.
@@badwolfoffroad868 you can see the bed rack in my latest video. Made it out of a boat rack and unistrut. Made it easy to attach different mounts as we changed our setup around.
@@TreeLovinAdventures
You do know that you can add a roof rack to the top of the camper shell, right?
Nice build, very clean looking. Also who makes the light bar brackets on the front?
Nice build!
Thank you!
I’d get a locker before the T swap. Sweet rig
Nice truck did you reinforce the camper to be able to support the weight of the tent?
Nice truck, have you looked at gear ratio changes
parabéns pelo canal, seguindo a partir de hoje.
is the camper shed Fiberglass? Does it feel strong? I got the same.
Not the light bar but the brackets I have been trying to find some for my frontier but cant
So you're saying that the bumper fascia didn't need to be cut for the arb bumper? Of course is that's with having had the two piece bumper setup prior
Do you still have this truck? How has the front end held up to the bigger tires? How the stock gearing handled the bigger tires?
No, ita 130lbs is really a nice bumper
What do you haul in the bed? Raw materials? Tools? Garbage? Fuel? Freight? Food, saw, recovery strap? Water?
Nice Frontier! Was excited to come across your build as I also have a Frontier that I'm thinking about building out as an overlander. Mine is a 2008 4.0V6 4x4 crew cab SE long bed. It's got 289,000 miles on it now and I'm going to retire it from full work duty to play truck pretty soon and like the way you've got your rig set up. I did put Rancho quicklift leveling struts on the front and matching RS 5000 adjustible shocks on the rear for future 33" BFG KO2s. Was thinking about upgrading the rear leafs to old man emu but might go with air bags if they don't seem to hold extra weight well since that's also what I'm looking for. I Like your ARB bumper and am curious why in hind sight you would go with one of the other manufacturers you mentioned? I look forward to watching your vids as I don't think the Frontier gets enough representation in the offroad overlanding world and it's such a Great truck. Sounds like your chan plans will be fun to watch. If you end up doing a titan swap you should definately do some vids on the install if you can, I think it would get lots of views.
Sean Duncan Thank you so much for the input, good to hear from other Fronty owners! And I love these trucks, if you’re thinking of building it definitely do it! As for your question on the bumper, I don’t like how ARB did the instructions. It seems like they were rushed or didn’t care and it was missing some info. Also it’s very common to end up with the gap like mine after cutting your old bumper off because the instructions are wrong. The overall quality is good but it’s very blocky and not really the look I want. I would have rather gone with a Nissan specific fab shop as it would be better designed for our trucks and there’s a lot of good looking bumpers out there from smaller companies.

Cost of your ARB bumper?
what number is the ceiling bar light??
Do the Titan swap, list of parts I used. Freedom OFFROAD Titan UCA, Titan lower control arms, Titan stainless steel brake lines, tie rod extensions, extended axles for 180 diff, Titan sway away coil overs (Non Titan swap specific, just regular Titan coil overs moded the top hat. Total was $1650 with the axles rebuild. Coil overs were used and rebuild before I bought them. Hit the trails I normally would at 20mph now easy 35mph. Suspension works great at higher speeds. Rear set up is bilstein 5125 10” shocks with OME leaf springs. And 1.5” schakles. Heavy duty front and rear bumpers, tool box with about 120lbs of gear. In previous had a similar set up you have and night and day difference.
EvoSGooD I am definitely weighing my options, recently got a quote to solid axle swap which would suit me much better but it’s also super expensive haha
BadWolf Offroad I have seen several frontier SAS, from what I gather great setup for trails Horrible mpg, unless your hitting some heavy trials waste of money. You can to Titan long travel with up to 5” lift up front and 4” wider per side. With shock hoops can fit a standard 10” coil over and net 14” of travel. The rear can do dever race pack.
can someone explain what a titanswap is?
I’ve got the same bumber on my frontier
Good video. I noticed that there are some people having issues with the beilstein 5100. I have set myself. I know a guy who jumped over to fox coilovers. Loves them. They are pricey. Do u have comments on the radflows. I'm thinking of going over to those as well. Have a good day.
Some people love Fox and some people hate them... As for the Radflo's I think they are the best performance option for our trucks. They are actually aware of the Nissan community and can build coilovers specifically for your setup. Not to mention a lot of the aftermarket Nissan companies (CJD Racing, Nisstec, Fat Bob's, etc.) know a ton about them and highly recommend them. They are pricey but I will definitely be going with the Radflo's when I T-Swap.
Cant wait for the titan swap!
Me too! Hopefully sometime soon haha
@@badwolfoffroad868
Are you dropping in a new engine? VQ56 V8? 4cyl turbocharged diesel engine?
Wam bumpers for the rear swingout
Sweet
Probably a stupid question but is this your daily?
Did the ARB front bumper sag your front suspension at all I have the same set up on my truck I was looking at that bumper but I don’t want the front to sag because I have it perfectly leveled
I'm in the same situation right now too bro, did you find a solution to it?
Nice rig. I can't believe that shell isn't crushed by the tent. A lot of thought and nice tips, about the titan swap and the fender cutting. I have an xterra that I'm loving but is a little too old to mod much so I'm holding off for a fronty when I've got money again. Do you think you'd regear if you had cash to spend? That's my biggest beef with my xterra, and I've only got 32's.
What gen is your xterra? I have 2nd gen with 33s and it has plenty of power especially if you add aftermarket exhaust and a bully dog tuner they rip.
Reno Overlanding it’s a second gen, 06. It’s a manual, so the final gears are like 3.59 or something. First in low 4 is not a crawl, just did some wheeling yesterday and it’s way too fast. Gets amazing mileage but if I’m packed for just an overnight 6th can’t be used below 80. I drove it to Maine from Utah and brought a trailer back and it was a totally different car below 2500 ft elevation so you’re right about a little tuning putting it there if it weren’t for the crawl speed. 205k today though so I think I won’t be doing a ton.
How much lift in the rear? And is it the fourth highest notch or the fourth lowest notch for the bilsteins?
Up front the bilstein’s are set to the fourth highest notch, and it’s about 4” in the rear with no weight in it
@@badwolfoffroad868 ok cool thanks
Where did you get those light bar brackets??
I got them on amazon but the exact ones are no longer available
Still plan on making videos?
Take care of that rust by the light bar 🤔
Eminem? Is that you?
Check your Instagram bro
nice economy rig. the thin blue line flag was pretty g4y and cringe tho
Where?
BadWolf Offroad 0:32 center frame
No, I meant where did I ask for your opinion
BadWolf Offroad pretty sure I made a comment. is this a comment thread or not f4990t?
Yes, which included your opinion about a sticker on my truck. You’re pretending to be progressive by hating cops yet you’re using homophobic slurs in 2020. Stop trying to be something that you’re not.
