I tried the Daring wings for the first time this week. I was so impressed and thought it’s clearly going to be the new big thing in the vegan world. I came looking to see if any of my favorite vegan CZcamsrs had talked about it and was shocked to find that this video is 2 years old so this brand isn’t new. How are these not more well known and widely available by now?? They’re SO good.
You know you're a vegan when, while trying a new product from a _vegan company,_ you stop eating and peer at the bag to double-check. I did this with the reformulated Daiya cheddar shreds recently, because when I opened the bag, whoosh, cheap shredded dairy cheese smell hit my senses. Daiya. I was questioning Daiya. Nobody here carries Daring, and I'm a bit unnerved to try it. But one thing's for sure: The food singularity is near, and it will get here before lab meat. TFP!

Thank god I found ur channel as my one year old has been having many many problems with allergies, stomach issues, painful bowl movements (tmi) for the past couple months. His pediatrician instructed us we put him on vegan diet however no carbs, starchy foods till further testing is done. Wow guys! Thank you for this video. I’m new to the vegan world and have not tried any plant chicken until today. I saw your video, promptly picked up a bag of the breaded at Sprouts (on sale) and cooked a few up. I’m 200% on board with those! I’d never guess they were not chicken! The texture is dead on and the flavor is great. I used Chick-fil-A sauce (prob not a vegan choice) but they were/are delish! Would love to see them come out with a Patty.

Yes I love these new daring Chikn it's so good . My favorite is the cajun flavor. EvenThough I've switched my diet to pestacarian as well as eggs I still eat vegan items that's not changed .

They appear to be only in smaller boutique type groceries in developing areas with multiple condos/homes in the upper six figure price range. I picked up the lemon and herb chicken. I really like it. I saw it last weekend at spouts and any new vegan stuff ill try it. I like the texture too. I made it with some rice pilaf, corn, and like a garlic sauce.

As far as price I think another good thing to point out when comparing a vegan product that is SO comparable to the actual non-vegan product is to think of that cost as well. On average chicken breasts that you would use to make grilled chicken bites like that would cost about $5-10 or more depending on the labels they add to it. I feel that Daring’s pricing is pretty fair. Soap box done 😊 love these videos!

What are the prices?
@@THEHORSELOVER235 I know I'm a year too late (so the prices may have changed), but where I live they range from $4.90-5.60/bag. Super good though and around the same price as Morningstar and Gardein but tastes so much *better* to me.
Honestly, this is incredible! The texture really reminds me of what people are able to achieve with wash the flour method of makin seitan but: 1) this is gf 2) having sth like that available so easily must be awesome :D Where I live most available options are just lame ;P

We just got our shipment (classic and breaded) that we ordered based on your rave review in the nuggets video. I can’t wait to try them!!
I just finished a pack Quorn’s nuggets which blew me away, but they contain egg whites so they are not vegan unfortunately. They have other vegan products though. They’re made from Mycoprotein (mushroom based).
I’ve ordered both regular and spicy Nuggs (spicy preferred), but I’ve always found their cooking instructions to be much longer than needed. If I go based on internal temp instead of time, they have a lot more volume and don’t seem too thin/flat. Maybe something to try out if you have more in your freezer!

I haven't eaten meat in 15 years, and when I tried Daring it was so realistic it actually made me nauseous. I had the same reaction to Impossible beef when it first launched, too. Impossible is now one of my favorites, and Daring probably will be too!

Watched your review this on another video and couldn't wait to try it. Stopped by Sprouts yesterday and bought 2 of each original and Cajun.
Tried the original tonight because I felt like some barbeque along with a salad. It was soooo good!!! Was super filling too and good calories.
Not vegan but pescatarian so I do eat some dairy, fish and eggs but no meat so this still works for me. Thanks for the reviews, found a new favorite!!

I feel if u originally were fans of dark meat chicken then most likely u will LOVE LOVE LOVE Atlas Monroe however it does tend to be on the spicy side of spicy and last I checked the shipping time is kinda long but WELL worth the wait! My husband says its the best vegan friend “chickN” he’s ever had hands down.

I’m on my 16th day of the Daniel Fast. I used the Cajun “chicken” in a stir fry today. I had to do research here to see if it’s really “not” chicken. The texture is “just” like chicken. I’m still afraid to eat it. I don’t want to mess up my fast. 😊 Edit: I just tried it; it’s so good! 😋

I think they launched this back in 2019.
I'm curious to try this but if the texture is very similar I think I would be weirded out too.
There's another meat substitute called "just like chicken " I'm curious to try it too.. its pretty pricey on Amazon....1lb is $16 but I guess not too bad as long as you get it just every once in a while

as a non-vegan, the thing i always wonder with these is - does it actually taste good, like would it taste good to me or other non-vegans?? or do vegans end up being away from meat so long that they develop a taste for meat alternatives and forget how real meat tastes/feels? there are some vegan meat substitutes i've tried that people rave about - but then it doesn't actually taste very good to me. especially tempeh or seitan type alternatives, i'm not a fan of those at all
The first time I tried an Impossible burger I actually got nauseous because it was way too real tasting/looking for me 😂 now I enjoy using it in recipes ❤️ 🐄 🌱

Literally me every time I get a beyond burger at a restaurant, it’s so hard for me to eat it without saying “I swear this is real meat” lol, kinda makes it hard to eat at times bc of how realistic it is
I have alpha-galctose(mammalian meat) allergy and i get an Impossible.burger 4 or 5 times a year. I am always so scared that they gave me the wrong one because to me it tastes like the way I remember burgers tasting. For me though it wouldnt just be a mistake that cost another being its life. Anaphylaxis could end my life too. Impossible burgers are like a scary roller coaster ride for me

I do not like the Impossible burger. There's a weird chemical taste to it. I just became a Vegan 3 wks ago. So, I've been trying different meat alternatives. I would really like to try the Beyond Burger.

We tried the breaded one and it was good but couldn't get past how much it reminded me of chicken (which I found unappetizing). My favorite are Morningstar farms because they taste good but there's no way it reminds me of actual chicken nuggets. This is the same reason I'm not really seeking out the impossible burger. Grosses me out a little now if it's too similar.
