Equal to boys is saying too much but yeah it's good as it removes the fear of being tackled and sharpens reaction time in such a situation. Good for self confidence in one's own ability to deal with it. Those tactics helped me run away from a difficult situation of violent threat by a guy. He was caught by surprise while I reacted without thinking getting free of the hold. I gained enough time to rush in more crowded area to get help.

7:46 Yes, that also constitutes as a point, which is why defenders are usually hesitant to try and tackle the raider if he is close to the mid line. It usually happens in untrained teams that when the raider is retreating after scoring a point, some defenders think they'll be able to tackle him if they all work together while the remaining defenders think they won't be able to tackle the raider at all and so they avoid touching him. All this happens in a split second and for an untrained team, it means every defender acts alone and not as a team, leading to a weak defence overall.

If a defender touched the raider and he goes back after that the player who touched him is out so aim is to hold him in your half and allow him to reach the centre line, thanks.
