Unbelievably, Bruce decided to leave this fantastic song off the Born in the USA album. What is already a classic album would have beenenhanced even further if None but the brave had been included. The guitar break half way through is enough in itself to give this song the classic status it totally deserves, but it's also the heartbreaking, yearning lyrics and magnificent soaring melody which makes this song one of his best "unknown" songs.
I was there for this show and the one two nights before. Two of the greatest live shows I've ever seen. This song was a spectacular highlight. jimmy Vivino on the guitar break with Bruce, and Eddie Manion on tenor sax.
There is a ton of great music out there today, you just have to dig a little. There was just as much mainstream pop nonsense in the 60's, 70's, 80's etc.
Love this song. Man we gotta bring real music back into fashion. I Cant stand the songs coming through these days, Maybe theres one or two songs that i'd like each year these days but thats it. The rest is rubbish
One of the many songs he should not have left off Born in the USA. In fact the songs he left off were better than the ones he left on. And why wait decades to finally release it?
"Stanotte ancora una volta Scruto ogni volto sulla pista da ballo affollata Cercando e non so perché Solo aspetto che tu entri da quella porta C'è una ragazza vicino alla band Mi ricorda te e le chiedo di ballare Mentre il batterista conta quattro Le prendo la mano e andiamo via..." NONE BUT THE BRAVE, my favorite one!

I 💘 Bruce singing this beautiful song.
I was at the show a few nights later and it was amazing. The backup singers are a local church group that Bruce said his mom discovered.
EXCELLANT SONG AND PERFORMANCE.

Esta buena canción la compuso BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN y la canto en el año 1982
Anybody out there have the 'PRICE YOU PAY' live, that is one of my favorites.
I still don't understand why this song was left out of 'Born In The USA'... I guess there are too many masterpieces to choose from!
it was too long. I agree though, such a great tune

@TheGurry That ain't no solo, that's one of the best guitar harmonies ever! But you're right: powerful stuff!
"Stanotte ancora una volta
Scruto ogni volto sulla pista da ballo affollata
Cercando e non so perché
Solo aspetto che tu entri da quella porta
C'è una ragazza vicino alla band
Mi ricorda te e le chiedo di ballare
Mentre il batterista conta quattro
Le prendo la mano e andiamo via..."
NONE BUT THE BRAVE, my favorite one!
@thunder63 Me too!
anyone know where I can download this one in mp3 version online?
Are some of the Asbury Jukes playing there?
@ck1usa True, but I'm sure the mainstream pop of the 60s, 70's and 80's was better than the crap we have now.
flairbird1965... Because it was about *bands*. Not producers.
Track wasn't good enough to make the BUSA record???
too long
