This Sonny right here DIED on this day. He and Brenda had a love more precious than gold. But he allowed power and fear to take over. Also, this Brenda DIED she was never the same. Sonny left her so full of brokenness, NO ONE, not even Sonny himself can fix. I will LOVE Sonny and Brenda FOR LIFE, but I will mourn this Sonny and Brenda 💜💜💜 FOREVER!

so true, I believe he really wish he can be a better man, but that need for danger and power has consumed him, and it did not help the people he surround himself with. Loves power too.

Too bad the newer (crap) writers did not take the time to watch old episodes to understand the history and development of characters. Sonny is like a zoombie in newer episodes compared to how be used to be.
