    A speaker upgrade might be really worth considering. Very good locomotives still

    The number boards do in fact light up. If you look in the instruction sheet,you will find the function number that turns them on.

    Did real Southern GP-35"s had ALCO trucks under them ???? I know it's possible, but I am unaware of it.

      You are correct !!!!! They took from some older models they got rid all. Alco RS-2 and RS-3 If I am remembering correctly. Good catch !!!!! They did looked a little funny.
