Great video and very nice job too, The only thing I would do differently is, I would have stack drill and cut the slots for the hats, that way both sides would be identical.
I was thinking the same. It would be a good way to widen the design and ensure they are still somewhat lined up... Like if this turned into a fishing pole rack.
Cool. This might help me cause I have a lot of Blackhawks hat and I've lost 2 I the past month so this might help me keep track of them lol. I probably won't be wearing them anytime soon because we just got swept by the preds tho
Hey man. is the size of the hole at the end of each slot of any real consequence? why not use a hole the same diameter as the width of each slot so that each slot is just a slot with a curved end rather than that 'key hole' (for lack of better description) looking slot?
Great video! But why use spray adhesive for attatching cutting templates?? It seems messy, expensive and very smelly. I'd suggest using regular old glue stick or a tiny bit of woodglue. And if your project is really rough, just use staples. EDIT: Also, don't run big forstner bits so quickly! They'll cut much better at a slower RPM!
I could see spray adhesive being somewhat useful when attatching large templates. Also, I'd like to say your videos are great. You along with many other youtube woodworkers have inspired me to build my own projects. Keep on making things!
Eric Lindberg That's crazy to now find out about a CZcamsr my age that's given me lots of ideas to start becoming a handy man lives near me and plays hockey as well! I hope to make your Sauce kit this summer!
You-da-man on free handing the dowels. I've just started to try them and I'm definitely in the "use a jig" stage. Nice project as usual.
Good stuff man. Nice to see a younger person wood working. Keep up the hard work.
Nice kid just what I needed to see to get back into woodworking 👌🏾
Great video and thanks for the free templates, criticism is good as long as it is constructive, keep it up, man.
Very nice project Eric! I especially like the joinery!

Keep it up! All of your videos are very good quality!
Nicely done very cool design and with the ebony stain it looks sweet.
Good job man.
dude you've got a fantastic shop but where is your vise? there was some major pucker factor when you were drilling out the dowel pockets
Another great project!
Great job Eric ! Keep up the good work !
Awesome video🤙🏾🤙🏾
Great video!
Making this tonight!
That is cool. Great idea for my hats too.
Thanks, turned out great!

Great video The only thing I need are the tools! 😒
elfather20 600.00 💰on tools
good idea eric! would make a nice gun rack too! good stuff as always man
That is a lot of work, but looks amazing. No wonder they charge $80 online. The tools alone would cost a fortune to buy.
Nice one
Nice vid buddy
Good job
Great job like!!!!
I LOVE it 💙

EXCELLENT TRAVAILLE J ADORE
thanks man great video ;)
what size hole saw did you use?
Cool. I have more caps than i know to do with.
What size bit ?
great job " GO BLUE "
Go Green!
Nice project only bad thing for me would be that I'd need about five of them for all my hats lol
Are you from Michigan? Great video
Awesome job dude!
What did you use to drill the holes? A drill press? If so, which do you use?

To each his own, I prefer spray adhesive myself. Goes on easier and quicker, the type I use has no odor and no residue.
gun rack also?
Might have played you a few times in hockey after seeing your Knights hat.
Eric Lindberg I've played against Livonia my whole life. From when I was in Garden City, Westland, Canton, and Redford.

Hermoso trabajo, muy orginal y bien realizado, pero ¿qué opina tu madre de la ubicación en la sala?
Sorry, my english is very bad... Great job!

I've been thinking of making a hat rack and well you may have just sold me on yours - nice work keep it up - BTW what is your College Major?
awesome - keep it up and don't loose the drive -
Where’s the link to buy this
Next project cross cut sled? Instead of mitre gauge
Eric Lindberg I understand
😊
Nooice!!
How do I get a copy of the template
Eric, how do i get the template?
So where are the free plans ?
You can't say nooice. Nooice is my thing.
Only criticism I have is the saw blade was way to high. Otherwise awesome job.
but my dad doesnt have those tools man so i would just have to buy one
Hmmm. I don't see any L.A. Kings hats up there ;)
Eric Lindberg that's a good one I'll give you that lol. Good luck to your wings next year. Hopefully the team isn't too......... mild XD
Only thing I would do differently is throw away that MSU hat and replace it with a nice Purdue hat. lol #BoilerUp
Go Green!!

That hat rack looks like my patent pending design. Check out my work.
Good thinking but too much talking bla bla just show the things next time, anyway good job
Omg I'm dumb asf this not the video for me 😭😭😭
Next, make a fidget spinner!
Nice! However, the rack is for caps, not hats.
Why did you make it so wide? You don't need that much space in between the hats, it made it look dumb
Sweet a 80 dollar hat rack I could save on by buying 1300 dollars of woodworking machines
