Hondas and toyotas are the highest to insure because sa demand ng carnapers. Try to shop around for other insurance provider or better yet try to shop for a different brand of car na hindi masyadong nakawin.
Kaya tumaas premium rate is ngkaroon ka ng claim (my car also had damage but i never bothered to file a claim since I know tataas rate ko upon renewal), longer distance to your place of work & discount to rent car for repalcement.
Mine went up too from 300 to 700 USD full coverage...pero good for 6 months yan.(from $65/month to $117/month na including insurance sa renter, personal stuff,etc). $700/month ay sobrang mahal 😮

Bro piece of advice if all insurance cpny it doubles ur payment..better got an old car for a few yrs n built good credit records till it went down atleast 200cd.. my first old car i bought 1200cd one time payment, so technically its a give away car, d only 1 i pay is d insurance 330cd.. 3yrs later my car hit fm behind they write off n paid my car 2700cd(kumita pa ko) d good news i got good driving habit every yr my car insurance still going down to 200cd.. to make short story,, bro 8$$ no deal tol sa mga nag start sa canada.. their taking advantage sa inyong pa start pa lamang..

Hi Mike, try PC insurance brokerage, Aviva yung car insurance ko. I have 5 yrs Canadian driving experience, driving a 2017 Tucson, $133/month lng insurance ko. I shopped around din kasi, before nasa TD ako kaso tataasan nila ako kaya lumipat agad.
