- Welcome to Accra, Ghana. This city, located along West Africa’s Gulf of Guinea coast, is Ghana’s largest. It’s also one of the region’s biggest and most influential cities.
It’s home to the descendents of the Ga people, who were already living in the area when the first Europeans arrived in 1482.

We love u too. Remember, we have always been siblings...that's how we should be close to each other on the continent a long time ago. Sad.
I love the way David is enjoying himself and the way he’s commenting on stuff. I’m missing the food in Ghana. I’m starving.

I envy you David how you eat Ghana food is so amazing u made me go to Ghana this year
African people r very resilient and hardworking people....Dispite the odds r always against them, due to others trying to keep them from rising they never give up. The y r still surviving by God's mercy and grace no matter what, they rise...God's annointing is truly upon them, and may his blessings continue to rain upon them, in Jesus name AMEN.
Love this guy. So cool and embraces everything. Jamaica is Ghana, and Ghana is Jamaica. Love and time to the ancestors.
What's the obsession with Jamaica and all the comparisons? Jamaica is not Ghana, no disrespect to Ghana. The video is about food in Ghana .
@@elainebrown3546this guy is Jamaican not Ghanaian and most of these comparisons are from them seeing the connections between Ghana and Jamaica and nothing wrong with it clear off from here with ur negativity and foolishness nobody is claiming Jamaica is Ghana who is Ghanaian to begin with and nobody is obsessed
@@julianaansah6367 For your info I have the right to express my opinion, I don't care if the guy is Jamaican or Ghanaian and you need to butt out of my conversation and mind your own business. A lot of Jamaicans and Ghanaian does say Jamaica is Ghana on CZcams and some are very much obsessed. I will not be engaging with you any further.
@@elainebrown3546why are you so miserable ?

Hi David,YOUR GHANA FOOD SERIES VIDEOS WAS THE BEST IN AFRICA.I see your other food series videos in other parts of Africa, but none can be compared to your previous Ghana food series videos.
Thank you so much bro! Appreciate your comment ❤
@@Davidsbeenhere To get the BEST GHANAIAN food content, try and meet up with a CZcamsR called TATIANA HAINA.She got very good Ghanaian food content and videos.
Absolutely 💯
Stfu if you have never taste the food from the other parts of Africa!

I have friends from Ghana and they are actually visiting Africa now. When I see them over the holidays, I can’t wait to drop some Ghanaian knowledge on them. Thanks for including some history as well as the food and your videos. It makes for a real learning experience. Thanks, David.
Its always a pleasure Vanessa! Thank you!

You're teaching ghanaians about ghana? Or just conversation?
Latin America has major ties to Africa, that’s why the food reminded you of home so much
You are great at what you do. Open minded when it comes to your love for different cuisines and cultures . Big up Dave
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
The Accra Food Tour is lovely way to experience street, market and local food when on holiday to GH!
My parents lived for more than 20 year in bahia (their origin is Belgian, and my mother lives right now in Belgium, me too).
They didn't know about the return of the slaves to Afrika.
Thanks for the superb info !!!!
They're not slaves. They are descendants of enslaved Africans.
Slaves trade started here in Ghana 🇬🇭 and till now we are the African country with over 40 slaves castles and forts that's why most African Americans, Carribbeans and other Diasporans are relocating and visiting here daily.
I said that we have some historical times during slave trade and things.. with brazil which is never written before. I also said that the ashanti king before otumfuo osei tutu made a visit to brazil.. was for a reason too
Bless your heart, David. I think you should organize your own tours to Ghana for people to enjoy the same experience and also change people's perceptions about Africa. Looks like you are having fun, enjoy it❤
OMG, David, we will want you to go back to Ghana🇬🇭 and make more videos for us. Goodness! We lo...ve your videos💯👌🏼 cheers to all Ghanaians both home and abroad. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼😘😘😘🤗
We will! ❤
I always told u Dave, Ghana has a way of catching u! Hahaha! See how u keep going back to these videos, yup! Same as most of other bloggers just like u, they keep going back to the ghana videos too! I know u will be going back, becos theres so much u were not able to cover...more regions! Great job, bro! My favourite is when the combination of the hot weather and your insatiable taste for hot spicy peppers gets u sweating and as red as beets! Hahaha!! The best time to be there is between early July-late September or early October, yes, that's when the weather is very nice, no sweating, less heat, and u can go ahead and eat all the spiciness u want! Akwaaba! I'm Ghanaian and even I, cannot do pepper like u do! Bravo!
I'm not an vegetarian but bcos of you guys i started cooking vegetable recipe & i was so enjoy watching u guys i burn my dishes.
I love Ghana I’ll to visit 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
We love y’all too
This video is so interesting. Watching it makes me miss Ghana so much. Such a good job done by David.
Aww David you're doing so well thanks for showing our mother land ❤️
Such a pleasure watching these videos through your eyes my friend. Very interesting cuisine, so much to learn. Hibiscus leaves is a first for me seeing it made into a dish. It looks similar to our Trinidad callaoo. As a child I use to pick the hibiscus leaves to play cooking. 💕
❤❤❤❤❤ thank you so much!
@33:07 it is always a pleasure hearing you in videos comparing certain flavors to your experiences in Suriname. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video David😉💯
Africa was in existence before Brazil, and we have a lot delicacies made from cassava, there’s no way cassava came from Brazil
Yea tell them again that Africa existed long time ago before Brazil and so this is where cassava originated (in Africa).
🥂 Ghana 🇬🇭🇬🇭✔️
This video makes me miss home 😢
wow what a video! Amazing David great job on showing the real Ghana :)
Thanks so much!
I gotta say I love how much you listen to the local people. A lot of tourism content creators have this weird egotistical vibe about them, your videos are super immersive and you just have a good vibe about you.
I really enjoyed watching this video as I haven’t been to Ghana for 6 years now. The food brought back such memories, as there’s no better place to eat authentic African food than Ghana. The people are friendly and the food is super fresh. I especially enjoyed your visit to the Spintex catfish restaurant. I could tell how much you enjoyed the fish. I like your enthusiasm about the place and sampling the food. You are a good ambassador of Ghanaian food and culture.
This was like a movie 🎥 thank you so much for all the effort you’ve put into this.
One of my favorites, the talapia banku, pepper sauce and shito
Going there soon❤

Hello David, I like the way you enjoy the different foods. You have a new suscriber. Thank you
whenever i miss GHANA i just watch this video
I’m so hungry now. The last 25 minutes the food looks great. I love fish.
Thanks for the sceneries.
I'm absolutely enjoying your videos from the U S Virgin Islands. You are amazing and made me laugh, eat, and feel like I was there all day. My dream is to visit Africa in 2024.
Having lived in Ghana for a couple years, I didn't grow to love some of the food, but some was great. I really enjoyed yoko gari (red red, definitely my favorite), waakye, jollof rice, and fufu with nkatenkwan (ground nut soup). I never ate at these kinds of fancy restaurants, so I got to eat the authentic street food versions of these foods. I ate mostly out of plastic bags (they'd wrap it up, you bite the corner off, then you eat it like Gogurt, squeezing it up from the bottom to the top, except for fufu, obviously lol).
Multitalented people ❤
Wow. God bless
Thanks for showing love for africa bro..
Great video love to see Africa we have to visit our ancestors country .from Jamaica so much similar food❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
