Gans Creek Wild Area Columbia MO, Very Cool Creek and Cliff Overlooks!

On March 28, 2024 I checked out what some consider the best hike in the Columbia Missouri area. I haven't done all the trails around Columbia but this one could be hard to beat. It was a ton of fun, with a great creek to explore and some super overlooks! Check it out and let me know what you think!

Your video is a good overview of the trails at Gans Creek Wild Area. Thank you! Gans Creek has a loyal following of hikers & trail runners. As your video suggests, the area is just a couple of minutes south of Columbia, yet you feel like you are transported further south deeper in the Ozarks. We also enjoy volunteering with both Rock Bridge Memorial State Park & the COMO Trails Association in the area.
