We young aspiring "musicians" always came to see the Gaylords when they played Kettering Working Mens' Club. We were always totally knocked out by their vocal harmonies as well as wonderful musicianship. How lucky we lads were to see them and gain such inspiration.

I just had the same experience. . .was closing down for the night, and this popped up. Only difference is, it's now almost June 2022, and this beautiful voice has been silenced for years already. Rest easy, Sir. You'll be missed for a long time to come, by SO MANY. Thank you for sharing your heart, soul and gifts with the World.

Dean Ford and the gaylords were the first group I seen live in Easterhouse ymca early 1960s that’s in Glasgow. Easterhouse was a wild place in they days other band’s also played there but Deans band were head and shoulders above any of them as time proved
