I hope to see more dialogue between Daemon and Jace next season.

Possible reaction? Unseen? He saw black. Based on that final scene we did see with no dialog? His body language appeared to be one of sadness, yet care and maybe a tiny bit of regret having to the the messenger of such terrible news. True Jace and Luke were not his biologically, but I don't think he disliked them.

My whole thing is that it doesn't matter that they're bastards. They're still of royal blood. They're still children of the heir to the throne. It's different with Cersei. She wasn't royal. Robert was. Any children Robert had would be royal, but Cersei didn't have them with Robert so they weren't royal, which is treason. Putting blood on the throne that is not from the royal bloodline. But Rhaenyra IS royal. She's the heir. It's her blood that would make the children royal, not the father. So it doesn't matter who father's the children, they're still of the royal blood. It's why it really pissed me off when Alicent said "It's a wonder their eggs ever hatched." Why the fuck wouldn't they? Rhaenyra is the blood of the dragon, more so than Laenor was. Even though their father wasn't, those kids were still the blood of the dragon because they were Rhaenyra's. So why wouldn't they? Dragons don't give a fuck about legitimacy. They only care about blood. They have the blood of the dragon from their mother.

If that is the case then all Targaryen bastards will have claim to the Iron Throne. Who knows how many bastards the Targaryen Kings have in Flea Bottom and Dragonstone. You cannot legitimaze bastards when you already have heirs. It will destabilize the line of succession and lead to war.

Honestly I am reading Fire and Blood and came across the part where Rhaenyra commanded her husband Daemon to behead Vaemond Velaryon and then feed his corpse to her dragon after he (correctly, might I add) said that her children are bastards, the exact same part were the show is now, but in the books things are a little bit different. She also wanted Aemond to be questioned "sharply" for stating that her children were bastards. She murdered and advocated torture to keep up the lie, and does anyone truly think putting those obvious bastard children on the Iron Throne was not going to result in war sooner or later? Is funny to see the exact same people that hated Cersei for her acts as a queen and as a mother rooting for Rhaenyra now.
People also like to excuse her cruelty and stupidity during her reign as a queen because she lost her children during the war, but that is no excuse. She established "knights inquisitors" and ordered daily executirons, commanded her soldiers to hunt down innocent children, refused to offer peace terms, imposed ridiculous taxes while throwing a lavish birthday party for her son, tried to have her allies murdered, she had her half-sister Helaena raped as punishment, which resulted in her suicide. From start to finish, Rhaenyra was an terrible, spoiled and evil person, "Maegor with tits," coined by the smallfolk who hated her, was deserved. It has nothing to do with her gender but everything to do with her evil and stupidy actions, she didn't lost the throne because she was a woman like the show is trying to convince us, she lost the throne because she didn't deserved it.
I never understood the defense of Rhaenyra and Daemon especially. Daemon was cruel, selfish, and evil in his entire life. People like to defend him hiring Blood and Cheese to murder a small child in front of their mother because he only did it in response to Aemond murdering Lucerys, but again, that's no excuse, that's an act of pure evil, Lucerys was killed in combat, he was fighting for his mother and understood pretty well the situation, Jaehaerys was a 6yo kid! Also, Daemon started a war for the Stepstones just because he was bored and wanted a kingdom of his own.
I've seen people calling Daemon an anti-hero, but I'm trying to recall when anti-heroes murdered children, started wars for fun, seduced their teenaged nieces, publicly humiliated their wife and then tried to claim her lands after her "mysterious" death, screwed and probably raped virgin prostitutes, etc. Yeah, I enjoyed reading about the character and thought he died in a totally badass way, but let's not kid ourselves about him.
Rhaenyra is as even worst than than Aegon, her husband was an evil man, her sons were bastards, the Blacks were the scum of the Westerosi society, do you really think that someone like her should inherit the throne? The show is portrayin them as the ''good guys'' while the Greens are the ''bad and evil guys'' this is ridiculous, this is not Rhaenyra and Aegon from the books, is quite clear that the showrunners have their favourite side on this wa

@@dx_n3774 it’s actually rumored that her kids weren’t legitimate because of their hair color. But if we’re basing it off the books it makes sense why their hair wasn’t white. Because her husband mom was half Baratheon and had dark hair like them. Which means that’s genetically those kids still could have been his especially if we considered how Jon snow looks as well.
