I know this is meant to be funny but we should be all scared knowing that there's a section of our population that seriously believe all of this nonsense. This is a serious national threat and we should really pay attention. Update: I see that a lot of people are liking this comment and I am somewhat hopeful for our future because of this. I hope that those likes will translate to votes against Trumpism. We cannot let this ever happen again and we need to stop this from getting worse now.

Well said. It's so unfortunate that a narcissist like Donald Trump can so effectively impose his own reality onto others, on such a massive scale. It's one thing for a narcissist to manipulate their family members or friends, but this guy is doing it on a national level. The sheer level of destruction this yields has been staggering to observe as it unfolds, and it makes me hyper aware of the impermanence of governments and nations. They fail all the time throughout history, and we may just be alive to live through a huge historical failing. I hope I'm wrong, but this sort of outcome is what I'm trying to emotionally prepare for.
