    Here in Brazil, where the Luciolis are made, they are the go to choice for hard enduro guys. Price is unbeatable, it lasts pretty much forever, I have countless tires on mine.
    We run anywhere from 6psi for better feel on faster trails down to zero if needed, usually around 2psi for the hard enduro type stuff.
    When assembling, lube is really your best friend, but once you get the hang of it, it's way easier than mousses, you don't even need a stand if you don't have one.
    Cheers from Brazil, keep up the good work!

    the jx8 is a pretty big 110, it's really similar to a 120 525 cheater. I also agree that it's a stunning tire. slightly short lived, but stunning traction.

    @Johnr37us Před rokem +1

    I’m like you when it comes to the weight of those things. I have always ran ultra heavy duty in my front tire and I have heard people say…I don’t like the how they affect the steering. But I never could tell a difference, but I’ll tell you when you would tell a difference and that is when a standard tube goes flat during your race. And Adam is correct …that JX8 is one sweet tire that IRC makes.🤘🏼

    Tubliss take time to figure out but after that they’ve been pure heaven! No inner bladder issues here. Have to use more clutch because of all the traction! No system is perfect but it’s nice to have options Do these tubes have extra thick rubber around beadlock areas? I’d think that they would tear like the rubber on all my regular headlocks have done, and start leaking air? Thanks for the video! Been hearing about these new rubbers and might give them a whirl

    I cannot imagine using Lucioli tubes over tubliss @ 170$ a tube you can buy two tubliss and carry a plug kit. I’ve never had an inner chamber tube fail, but then again I do maintenance it every time I change tires

    • @CoolEyeColorado
      @CoolEyeColorado Před rokem

      I also never had an inner chamber fail on my tubless. Always solid and totally like tubliss. Looking at the directions for the Lucioli Tube on their site, it seems just a big a pain as anything else (mousse, tubliss, etc). Maybe i missed it, but I noticed in Morgans video there was no lube applied to the Lucioli Tube . On their website via the assembly instructions (#7) it says "lubricate Lucioli and tire.." wondering if that means the whole tube (like a mousse) or just enough on the outside/edge to get the tube/tire on the rim?

  • @jmeezy4050
    @jmeezy4050 Před rokem +1

    For peace of mind mousse has gotta be number 1. Than tubliss because you can just plug it quick on the trail. Every tube system has the same issue. If you puncture it (no matter how tough) your still tearing it out to patch it. IMO

    Clearly you deliberately left out the install of the second rim lock so as to keep your video “G” rated! I can imagine that being a “challenge”.
    Interesting alternative to mousses or Tubliss, but as you said “…if it has air, it can go flat…” and for that reason alone, I’ll stick with mousses for now.

    I ran the IRC JX8 in WV, great tire. It's half wore out after 9 hours. But it hooked on the rocks! I used a heavy duty tube. I tried the tubliss. It worked for me, the thing I hated was every single time I went to ride the tire was FLAT. I ended up ruining it taking it off the rim.

      Horses for courses. I think these are a great option for hard enduro. Where traction is #1 priority, there is no shortage of power (300cc two stroke in 1-2nd gear is a rocket no matter what), and most of us probably won't notice all that unsprung weight affecting suspension performance at those 5mph speeds.
      Faster riding - probably a different story. I haven't tried these, but I find even standard vs. HD tubes or mousses is noticeable, and I'm a newb! I can imagine a good rider can really feel 8lbs extra bouncing around in each wheel.
