Do you think NYC should limit the height of new skyscrapers?

No but if they do build a supernal it has to be super iconic looking.

I'm not from NY but out of all the New buildings now and future including the thin ones built in the last 10 years 175 park ave would be the only one that I would go to NY for my first time just to see No other citys buildings in USA could compete in my opinion.

I think it's time for other major cities outside of NYC and Chicago to build some super tall like of course LA, Houston, Dallas, Philly, Seattle, Miami and Atlanta.

If there is a market for it and the geology and infrastructure will support it, then go for it. But Houston and Dallas devote too much space to parking downtown. Focus on density and transportation first, then the super tall buildings will naturally follow.

Good video. Not sure why some of the visuals in the earlier parts of the video didn't match the content but the rest is quite informative!

The video is generally quite good 👍
But, the images seem extremely random. There needs to be some concept for when to show what or it will be like watching a slide show on a loop 😵‍💫

When will we know if Tower fifth will be built?

  • @codyslade5558

The question is (IF) most of these buildings will ever get built. It is extremely difficult to get skyscrapers approved in NYC. The skyline will evolve, I just wonder if these will be the buildings that change the NYC skyline?

The lengths of a tower in the world, commercial and residential, and the lengths of a hotel tower in the world, all of them are in Dubai, the lengths of a tower in the world, Khalifa Tower 200 floors

A lot of new skyscrapers will be going up in Brooklyn. Manhattan is getting too crowded.

But they are still building more in Manhattan than Brooklyn. Wtf are you talking about?? Yes they are building new skyscrapers in BK but not as many new ones compared to that being built in Manhattan. Look it up!

This site is laughable. He talks of an architectural revolution in NYC as if they ever stopped building skyscrapers for a time. That has never happened and it will just be more buildings.
