Hyatt House San Juan Hotel Tour

In January of 2023, my wife and I flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic. We flew to San Juan the day before our cruise embarkation and stayed at the Hyatt House San Juan, which was about a 7 mile drive from the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport and a little over a half mile from the Pan American Pier 1 East cruise terminal. The hotel was in a very convenient location since it was within walking distance from several restaurants as well as the cruise terminal. This video includes a tour of the hotel.

Hhouse has a signature kitchenette, which separates it from HPlace. This one doesn't have it, nor it has a large sofa bed. its strange and weird. Thank you for this tour video.

So, I'm thinking about doing a cruise out of San Juan in 2025, and was curious about the walk to the pier. You answered that question after watching your video. Thank you for that. I guess my next question would be, what would be a recommendation for time of day to start walking to the pier before traffic gets too bad

We left the Hyatt House San Juan hotel around 10:15am and was at the pier around 10:30am. There is a crosswalk and traffic light to easily cross HWY 16 from the hotel. When we left the hotel, taxis were already lined up from the C. Lindbergh/C. Muelle intersection to the Pan American pier. On C. Muelle, there was enough space for us to walk beside the taxis (that were stuck in traffic) without any issues.

Hyatt House was way better than Hyatt Place right across the street!
