When I met Jimmy Heart at Hogans place in Clearwater... I said "there's the best song weighter since Hank Williams" and either he didn't sell it or realize I was fuckin with him cause just like nothing he said, "well thank you, I appreciate that, we had a good time"... Either way he was a class act

Jarrett liked to keep things close when it came to promoting. His mom, Teeny ran a lot of the spot shows and helped promote Nashville and Louisville. Eddie Marlin ran pretty much everything else. When business was good in Memphis, which it was for a good long run, that family was pulling in an insane amount of money.

Eddy Marlin could sell like nobodies business! Him and Tommy Gilbert were the tag champs and faced the Bounty Hunters in Tupelo MS. I thought they were gonna kill EM! But they rallied and won the match! All thousand people surrounded the ring for autographs! My mother who hating wrestling climbed into the ring for me to get their autograph! We still laugh about it to this day! My sister and her friend threw ice at the Bounty Hunters! Now that is an old school story!

Eddie Marlin was a very nice guy. And he did everything at those spot shows. I remember him working the concession stands in Jonesboro Ar, selling tickets, wrestling, you name it. Much respect
