- K-pop is widely known for its exploration into other genres, some more explored than others. In this video, I'm taking you through an A-Z list of some of k-pop's most interesting, popular, and unique genres. For certain letters I had to take small liberties, but I think my research has been in depth enough that all the songs fit under or are inspired by each genre they're categorised with.

and ROCK. we certainly need more rock and metal in K-pop 🙏🙏🙏🙏
the synthpop scene in kpop is always something
I didn't even know what glitch pop was or sound like. Your vids increase my knowleadge in music so much. They're incredible just like you. Tysm🥰
Aww thank you so much! This comment is so kind
SM is good in X-Perimental... wow...
I expected Jazz Bar to be in the Jazz category😅😂
Even though this video didn't have the genre I was looking for (whyyyy does kpop have to be so amazing & diverse 😭), I'm still really glad I watched it! It was so interesting!
Thank you so much! Which genre were you looking for?
when the x-perimental was only sm there lmfao
Didn't know big room was a thing before this vid but damn that is my JAM
I love this video! There are so many genres I never heard of so this is really cool!
synthpop and deep house
deep house, synth pop and zouk riddim >>>>>
also tropical house and x-perimental
and glitch pop omg
let's be honest, x-perimental is the root for most of SME musics
really good video!
i just wanted to point out the fact that, as far as i know, none of the songs you used for hardstyle is actually hardstyle apart from cactus (i.e side effects is trance)
also i think the same goes for new wave, the only song i'm sure is is days gone by, the others most likely aren't
Great video ❤️❤️ although its called "pop" its soo diverse in genre!! So many different sounds
este video es n excelente trabajo, se distinguen perfectamente los generos, que pena que no tenga mas vistas :(
YES!! Is Who by Minseo!! That’s the first song I think of when I think of jazz.
I now know that my preferred music styles are big room and hardstyle. Thanks,
I'm in love with synthpop
Just saw your video... and, for the most part, found it enjoyable and informative. However, and while I admire the sincerity, love and energy that went into it, I feel compelled to note that "WALTZ" is not a genre. Waltz is a time signature: specifically 3/4 time (or 3 quarter-notes per measure). Most pop music is 4/4 time (i.e., 4 quarter-notes per measure), with the emphasis on the 2nd and 4th beats as in: one TWO three FOUR; one TWO three FOUR, etc. Waltzes tend to emphasize the first beat as in: ONE two three; ONE two three, etc.
I love that loona is included
Bossa nova, glitch pop, deep home
Deep house, jazz
Ood school hiphop
Quiet storm
Synthpop
Uk garage
En el del Hardstyle estoy notando sonidos Psytrance y Drum and Bass
Loonatic is dream pop
I would add:
No - CLC: Deep House
The Feels - TWICE: Funk
Shut Down - Blackpink: Classical Crossover (I think)
Antifragile - Le Sserafim: Reggaeton
Illella - MAMAMOO: Reggae
Demente - Cheongha: Latin
Tomboy - (G)I-dle: Pop Punk
Never Stop Me - (G)I-dle: Pop Punk
Rollin - Brave Girls: Tropical House
Chi Mat Baram - Brave Girls: Tropical House
Underwater - Gwon Eunbi: Tropical House
Naughty - Irene & Seulgi: Future House
I think that Shut Down is Classical Crossover with Trap, maybe
