Yes it’s Easter, gives us a lot of things to be thankful for. A lot of people would be thankful for a beautiful home and cars that God has allowed you and Amy to live in and drive. Some would be thankful for a warm place to get in out of the storm that is coming. After this storm Amy can drive anywhere she wants BUT RIGHT NOW be thankful for the little blue vehicle with backwards doors that leak water and snow. Be thankful that your son bought it a year ago or y’all would be stuck in a beautiful house and nowhere to go. Dougo may God bless your family this year.

Best Dougo episode yet! I've had "the look" given to me on occasion and can completely identify with you Dougo! I was shocked when I heard Dougo tell Amy she'd just have to take a picture of her vehicle there in the driveway and leave it for a while - then Dougo came to his senses and we see him pulling into the garage - whew, that could have been catastrophic!

The first "date" me and my wife had was in the middle of winter at least 12" of snow on the roadways, involved her little SUV (not my big mud truck), a T-road a barbed wire fence and a cow pasture with bulls in it. I had her Dodge Durango at least 6 foot in the air when I went through the T at the end of the road and flew up over the hill side bordering the pasture landing in the cow pasture.... Fun times back in the day.

I used to live in Michigan, and one of my tasks was to shovel the snow from in front of the second garage door, start the tractor and plow out the driveway ... almost as much fun as you have.

We should have more videos of Dougo in the dog-house with Amy. This was absolutely hilarious! Dougo is right though, the silly 'safety' features that they are putting on vehicles worldwide are often more inconvenient and a hinderance than they are 'features'.

The struggle bus was even stuck. Yes Doug this winter just doesn't want to end. We live SE of Canby and we have had a little less snow than you guys but way more than enough. Lots of snow piles that need to melt. I watched the video on Easter Monday morning and now we are supposed to have multiple days of 70's for temps. Lots of water is going to run towards all the rivers, hang on for the ride.

Doug, you are definitely one cool dude!! I would have had that snow all melted off. From where I just got frustrated and set fire to the dang car!! LOL After some time of that stuff, I would have to send Amy to the next house so she would not hear the new cuss words I was making up. That can NOT be a REAL Minnesota car!! It should be illegal to sell a car equipped like that that far north!!You and Amy are both pillars of patience!! Seriously. I would have to make up new cuss words cause the ones I know would not be bad enough for that situation.. LOL You both handled that VERY well. Blessings on you. Go inside, have some hot whatever you prefer, and enjoy NOT doing nothing. And thank you for sharing this with us. (making the whole ordeal even more work)

The new wider tires create less rolling resistance for improved gas mileage... and suck in MN winters! The 90s vehicles... 4WD systems would go through anything... if not the front frame hooks were there to get you out! Agree with Dougo 100%!!!

Makes ya think about the value of a good set of snow tires . Specially when you live where it is known to snow. I do believe they make snows for Dodges. Drove through my 50th winter without getting stuck. I put Bridgestone Blizzaks on my vehicles. Worth the price for heavy snow.

My wife has an '05 Durango, it was built when a Durango had a frame, clearance, and world tow something. It came standard with a trailer hitch. She looked at a "new" Durango and said "No Thank You!" So it had a few dings taken out a fresh coat of paint and will go an other 15 years!

Granted MN does not compare to you guys in Saskatchewan, but this has been a heck of winter for us both - eh. Drove from Saskatoon to Lloydminster on my way to ALaska in a darn blizzard in Late may, early June about 5 years ago.
