As always, you get a thumbs up from me, but it was instant after the intro.."I got your lure... Great" Hahaha. Glad to see success from great men. I have tremendous respect and admiration for all our service men and women and I can't thank you enough.
Hahaha, Thank you, I love doing these.
@@ShawnRyanShow these are the best SEAL videos on the Internet - I'd love to see you get the likes of Jocko, Don Shipley etc on for more funny stories about SEAL life
@@MajesticDemonLord I second that, honestly you guys should get an MTV show, so many people would watch!
I had to cut my skivies off and toss em over board one time... bad food in Thailand. Shoot it happened to a few of us. It's was no bueno.
James Hammett so you was there to know exactly how things went down! You don’t have the hair on your ass to serve our nation! You are probably a goat humper yourself!
I asked a former Seal to go freediving with me. His response was, "Do I ask you to do your job for fun on the weekend?" Point taken
I Roof when it's hot, (of course).. and it's always 10/15 hotter on the roof. So on the weekend if the sun is out when let's say a coffee girl, "says enjoy the weather". I always think...fuck off.
"Oh...so is that a maybe...?"
Tell him you're going spearfishing and he would have been on it.
Be respectful. Try asking him what you can do for him.
Richard Boureston - Main Or Bowfishing
Marcus has those crazy "I've been in some shit" eyes.
Tis but a dream maybe cause he has. I agree 100% he does give that look of that crazy old uncle or grandpa with those “NAM” stories to tell.
Thats because he has been though a ton
David Marcus hasn’t been through shit, shits been through Marcus
Ever seen Lone Survivor? That was based on Marcus Luttrell
@@feedmyneed6476 thanks Captain, didn't knew
Frogman story: I heard Marcus Luttrell smiled once. Unconfirmed.
Rob he’s still in the shit. I would not cross him. Period.
that man went through hell. he just lost many friends and he's the only survivor. just imagine the horrors marcus fighting even now.
Man yall are out of touch real bad... Marcus laughs a lot...watch the podcast... he clear much of his Fogg of war...
That’s cause he always has a massive chew in his lip!
All of these men are true American Heroes. Thank You for having the balls to come towards the call when others went the other way.
THANK ALL OF YOU... For your services.
God bless SEALs.
Marcus Luttrell looks like a no nonsense type of guy
He is.
Yup....
Plenty of hurt left in that hero......just see what happens when you shoot his dog.......but thats another story.
Im still waiting for the suprise fairytale ending . When they find those fukkerz hanging off a freeway overpass.
Everything that guy has been through, it would be pretty hard to amuse him.
Marcus is a serious cat!
You can see on his face that he has been thru hell and back!
All 4 of these guys are hero’s.
Thanks for your sacrifice gentleman!
Looks like a normal guy. Why do y’all classify these men into monsters . These are normal men with skills. Their careers doesn’t make them any different. These are great men with skills. Stop putting them into these categories
@@donovancollins4752
Monsters?
I clearly said the word gentleman.
I have 5 active Servicemen in my family.
I do more for veterans than anyone I personally know.
Go troll your boyfriend, Mary!
@@donovancollins4752I understand what you’re saying, especially because I’ve heard other seals say the same thing. Even Marcus. But you’re wrong. They’re wrong. These aren’t normal men. They are humans with an inhuman will to be the most savage, ruthless, unstoppable operators on the planet. You can’t just form anyone into that. It takes extreme sacrifice, dedication, and an unnatural calling to place everything and everyone above the value of your own life. These men are true warriors.
Who’s the 4th guy they keep covering the face
He ran and left his men
My father was in Special Forces and I learned at an early age that these guys have the wildest sense of humor. God bless ‘em.
when you tell the worst day of you life story and marcus luttrell is like "i call that tuesday."
I feel more badass just watching this channel.
That's awesome to hear!
You guys are legit. It humbles me to know there are guys like ya'll who have been in the shit, and walked out ready for the next mission. Then you still manage to keep life in perspective. "Inspirational! Keep it coming, and thank you.
More is coming. Thank you for watching.
Like the guy in the first story? literally handled his $#!t. lol.
jk. Thanks all who are serving, has served and about to serves service.

Just watched a story on Luttrell helping out a WWII vet get back into his home after a hurricane. Man if I could just be 1/10th of the man you are I'd feel a bit more purpose in life. You guys deserve so much more. God bless.
GET DON SHIPLEY ON HERE! Having the different generations of SEALs together would be so cool
Don Shipley and or Chris Caracci will be great. Make it happen fellas please
Have beer bust pig roast . Invite them all . Put mics on everyone , personal body camz along with perimeter/area cameras. And let the boys play .

Nicolas Villamil - whats that guy talking about ?
Hey I know a fake seal I Charlestown WV who you should put on your show.
All of these men are true American Heroes. Thank You for having the balls to come towards the call when others went the other way. From the bottom of me and my family’s heart Thank You Guys
Man these stories take me back to when the Maui Vietnam Vets would come to Molokai and sit around at our canoe shack after canoe practice and they would talk story about their time in country. Being a Vietnam vets wife I never knew what he experienced while he was there. He never talked about his time in Vietnam with me but with the other vets he opened up. He had severe PTSD and drank all the time just so he could get through the day....but listening to the vets helped me understand how much of an impact being there affected him...and it gave me such an immense appreciation for what all of you do for all of us...all the things that makes a huge change in your life...that all of us back in the US never hear about or know about...all of you guys are my hero’s and I have such a huge respect for all of you...thank you just doesnt seem like enough...for all that you have done for all of us! Mahalo brah I hold each of you in my heart...you are my hero’s....
There is a direct link between humor an intelligence .an u can see that with these guys
Thanks for the compliment.
FREAKING STORY TIME!!!!! THANKS GUYS.
Thank you for watching.
My heart fills up with so much respect and admiration when I see these guys, there are no words....
Crazy that it took me this long to find this channel....thanks for all that you and all the service men and women have done for this country!!!!!!
Found you guys about a month ago and must say this is my favorite channel on here . As a former AS2 and member of the NAVY REGULAR FORCES lol would like to say thank you for your service , sacrifice and for showing us you are humans just like the rest of us.....well , maybe I should've said bad ass humans! Thank you and please keep content coming.
Jaime Alvarez thank you for that compliment bro. Cheers 🍻
Tom Clancy's Shawn Ryan
Hahaha That'd be the day!
This is great. Thanks guys. It's so good to see everyone having a good time. It makes me happy.
Every now and then I come back watch these and it always makes me smile to see Shawn smiling and having a good time.. more often than not we see him being a professional and more reserved and sometimes more serious or angry about a subject on the podcast.. it’s refreshing to see him having fun… should consider making content similar to this again man… the people would eat it up faster than the gummy bears
Marcus looks like he can't Force a smile. He's been through it and back. Respect to all of ya.
"Dad I cant go to sleep" stories are my favorite! Hats off to ya fellas!
Luttrell has some serious PTSD. He is anxious, uncomfortable,he has ticks,he never smiles and seems to be far away in his thoughts. The kid has been thru hell. I would never be able to cope ,if the shit he went thru ,happenned to me. I think I am a pretty damn tough man...but Operation Red Wings was a total clusterfuck. I can only wish him all the best, and thank him for his service. If all accounts are true ,he deserves peace of mind ...at the least.
gregory macdonnell just imagine seeing all your brothers die coming to save you man. He’s alive and great full for every day he gets to be vertical, that’s obvious to me.
in my uninformed opinion, not knowing him personally. i think he would benefit with some therapy, too much going on upstairs. love and forgiveness go a very very very very very long way. get those in your heart and you can eventually let go of things in there that only exist to bring you pain. At least he’s alive and im sure he’s doing his best to make the most of it. but even that’s probably a lot of pressure in and of itself. you are the lone survivor and now you have to tell the story and carry the legacy. lot to hold for 1 man. needs some people around him to help him carry the weight. i’m sure he’ll get there. much love going your way marcus
@@Sethclement96 I think that he sees a shrink, and goes to a veterans support group, though I am not sure if it continues to this day. He does spend alot of time with ex-Military guys like Shawn Ryan and Rob O`Niell though for sure. Jeez man, that guy went thru hell, then comes home and some thugs murder his dog. Who the fuck does that???? Kill a little puppy? He drove 3 counties chasing them with 2 Beretta 9mm`s with him. It is all on tape here on you tube.Crazy.
gregory macdonnell i can’t even imagine
@Kristian Thomas Not only war. Any extreme situation.
I keep watching this over and over, mainly for the intro. Ruts facial expressions are priceless. y'all are awesome, keep it up.

Love the channel guy’s, Thanks for your service to everyone. Have to say you guys have been a inspiration for me and my son. My son started AORTC in his school, he wanted to be a SEAL. Thanks for your service!
Love these guys and their stories. Keep it coming.

Wizard... you all put in the upper Gauley just below Summersville Dam. Last I heard it was the #7 ranked river in the world because it’s so technical. That rock sounds like Shipwreck (for a legit reason) and is seriously undercut. To the left of that rock is the Orange Juicer (enough said). People have stroked the remainder of their lives trying to get out from in front of that thing. The fact that you all got your boat unpinned from that beast is amazing. So, less than 1/2 mile down river is Iron Ring. You all did that in the dark?! HOLY SHIT! Having rafted that river countless times and hearing your story... INSANE. Also, world class climbing over on the New River. The lower New is also a fun rafting trip, but nothing like the upper Gauley.
I have done the Upper Gauley in a raft w a guide. I did it when the dam release was from the huge pipes above ground. While you launched into the river it sounded like a jet was taking off beside you. Going down that river with no PFD at night is beyond foolish. Esp for a training exercise.
The things these men have done have helped us more than we'll ever know. So interesting. Keep being the badass's you all are. Much respect.
2024 Still comring back to these great stories . Thanks Shawn ATB 🇨🇦

From a former combat medic- Afghan 08-11-(&ATM a civi- paramedic)to you frog men; I love watching you guys BS! I was never an operator but, y'all's mannerisms when storytelling really sells the authenticity of your experiences (obviously) . Thanks for the therapy sessions Gents!
Man Marcus doesn’t even smirk let alone smile or laugh I swear he’s not even listening!!! So funny
He is. When he talks it's clear he was paying attention to them
I forget listening to these funny stories that these men have seen the worst thing you can see as a human being. Still they are able to laugh and smile... it's a beautiful thing.
Marcus seems very much like a "no bullshit" type of guy.
Thank you to all of you for your service and for doing a job nearly none of us want to do. thank you eternally.

If anyone had/has ptsd in this group it has to be Marcus. He always seems fidgety, somewhat distracted and somewhere far away. But God bless him, bless them all, for the work they did on our behalf. Thank you all.
Watching Marcus it felt like his his best friend and buds from the hillside in Afghanistan were there with him in his mind contributing to his inner conversation. I'm probably full of shit, but it felt like it. I'm so sorry Marcus. Thank you, to all of you including those not present, for all that you've done.
Are you a psychologist or psychiatrist
It's amazing what those Zodiacs can go through and keep floating. I used to survey in one in the civilian world with a little sonar unit hung off the side so we could map rivers, reservoirs, etc. for hydro power companies. Like the Wizard said, when they open up the dam intakes to get more electricity flowing, the water current starts to haul some serious ass, and in the Rockies there's *tons* of fallen trees with sharp broken branches perfect for puncturing. Thankfully, the inflatable tubes on those boats are compartmentalized with inner walls so that if you do lose one section, the other sections will keep on going. We'd be bailing ice-cold water out (a lot of the sites we were on are glacier-fed) with a big ice cream pail trying not to let our electronics get submerged, but the Zodiac would stay afloat until we finished several more hours of sounding.
When the engine died, though, that's when we were at the full mercy of the river. We lost power and started spinning, going probably 30 knots with zero steering (our one paddle didn't do jack). We were about 600 meters upstream from some rapids and we had no helmets so I got up on the motor and wrapped my legs around it then hung off the side of the craft so I could grab onto the trunk of a tree when we came near the shore. It felt like I was going to get ripped in half, but my co-workers grabbed my legs and we managed to finally haul the thing onto land. My arms were chowder with hunks of bark stuck in them afterwards, but our boss would have probably done worse if we lost all our gear. I know it's nothing compared to the ops and exercises frogmen do, but I have profound respect for you guys who are working in combat conditions with shit like that to deal with. I've heard of being in "the suck," but tactical suit-pooping in an SDV just to *start* your day is on a whole other level. Thank you guys for never quitting.
Bit I overloaded a zodiac with 9 scuba tanks and the floor went out when we hit a wave off Santa Barbara. All but one chamber went out but it was enough to hang onto while we waited for the CG. Dumbest thing I’ve ever done.
I always come back to this video when i need a laugh. We need more frogman stories, Shawn. Seriously the most interesting content to me.
I would like to thank all you guys for your service
Love ya Marcus! You make me proud to be a Houstonian
