Hi Gemma, as a fellow bun mum, please get Pumpkin a friend ❤ do your research on bonding them & neutering but theyre so social and should live in pairs to be their happiest. There are tons of bunnies in rescues who are already neutured and waiting for their forever homes. Its impossible to bond them until they're both neutured because theyre so territorial x

Mummy of 3 here, and I would say going from 2 to 3 was by far the easiest transition. Baby 3 just slotted straight into the madness lol. Love your vlogs as always ❤
Absolutely this. My 3rd and 4th were a breeze, you don't feel as guilty putting them down to do something and they're so much more chilled babies for it. We'll, in my experience anyway x

Pumpkin is such a cute name! And he’s a cute bunny! They do NEED hay for their dental health so definitely get him some ASAP. Also they need a hide house and chew toys for a happy enclosure. They can be litter box trained as well! Not with cat litter but they make rabbit litter. And last bit of important rabbit info is NEVER get them wet they take dust baths! good luck with your adorable bunny! So sweet!❤

As a Mama of four, for me going from two to three kids was the easiest. One to two was the hardest for me. Whatever you choose will be perfect for your family but don't be put off about adding another. It's beautiful chaos no matter how many babies you have. Much love ❤️

Best hay I think is from The Little Hay Company ( alfalfa up to 6-8 months then Timothy or Cotswold sweet) only X2 egg cup size rabbit nuggets per day,main food is hay. Rabbits can stand cold better than heat for summer I put out a slate/ marble placemats for mine to sit on in shade and occasionally dampen ears if over 30 degrees.If keeping rabbit in that enclosure it needs wire planted around enclosure to keep rabbit in and foxes out .A good hutch is a child's summer house with a run attached
this vlog was so calming and relatable 🤍 currently have a two year old and due with another little girl this December, seeing little tidbits into your life with two and a newborn made me that much more excited 🤍

Watching Jonah just fall asleep on you 💀 my little girl would not sleep without VIGOROUS movement 😂😂 my birthing ball was used more postpartum than it ever was during pregnancy 😂
Gemma please be very careful because rabbits burrow very quickly to get out of that sort of enclosure and also Mr Fox can get in just as easily sadly
To be honest, I don't like to criticise, but rabbits are not really suitable pets for young children at all.
@zzzbbbooo you're not wrong. My daughter always wanted one but we waited until she was 12 because we were always advised that small children and rabbits are a big No No. Saying that, I am glad she saved him. I really hope they do their research before getting more because looking after rabbits is very hard work. I also recommend bringing them indoors to live because they will be killed outdoors, especially in the kind of area they live. My daughters friends rabbit was killed a couple of months ago by a fox, it's horrifying.
I’m currently in the first trimester and my house has fallen into complete disarray as I’m too tired to clean up every night and dirty dishes repulse me 🤢 binge watched you cooking and cleaning videos today and it was super therapeutic, it even motivated me to clean up a bit 😅 your house looks so clean and I crave cleanliness right now but I have no energy to actually clean. I love your cooking videos - you just make it look so calm and serene and your food always looks gourmet at the end.

I own 3 bun buns, 1 is a rescue. I know that bunnies love areas to run around so they can zoomie. Also make sure the pen out side goes a little into the ground so a predator does lift it up. Also maybe have an area where they can hide from any animals outside.
Love this!! I have 3 bunnies too, 2 rescue. Totally agree, it’s so important for them to have lots of space for zoomies but also somewhere to hide in the quiet and dark. We have made a hole in the hutch so that it attaches to their play pen and we close it up at night.

Rabbits' digestive systems need grass and/or hay to function properly. Their stomachs are constantly going so they need a constant supply of hay. Rabbits are naturally social animals and companionship is important to them. So bonding another rabbit is extremely important.
You also need another Hutch as that one doesn't provide enough movement for a single rabbit, let alone two.

Hi Gemma, I love that you have rescued Pumpkin and you are being responsible with your bunny research. Only a couple of recommendations from me regarding the hutch. I appreciate that back in the day and sadly still to this day, people default rabbits and guinea pigs to outdoor hutches. They do need a lot more space than you would imagine to roam. Imagine how Tilly and Teddy would feel in a small room and that is it. They need lots of enrichment, shade, hides and multiple levels. I know it costs more, but a big enclosure with all of the above is the best thing you can do for a bunny 😊 x

Hi Gemma! As a rabbit parent, a great (quite down to earth 😅) way to make rabbits bond is to take the poops/litter from the separated hutches of the rabbits and place them in the other rabbit's hutch! I would also recommend to give them a large, as large as possible, place to live together as small enclosures can enhance territorial behaviors 👍 Lots of love from France! ❤

Pumpkin🥹 so glad you’re getting him a friend. Male and female are best pairs but can have same gender too. Similar temperaments will create the best bonds. Both need to be neutered.
If you are unable to have them inside, please ensure the enclosure is secure. I would definitely recommend a bigger set up, hides and lots of chew/ enrichment toys and refresh these often❤
Regarding their diet, there’s lots of information online. Only give your buns fruit/treats sparingly as it can upset their tummies which can lead to GI stasis. This will also help them to maintain a healthy weight🥰

Well done for rescuing the rabbit, he has a nice garden and home to be loved. My sister had two rabbits and they used ti lick each other and it was lovely to see. They do need a huge living area, especially when not in a run in the day. Limitless hay is the main thing they need over pellets this keeps their teeth trim. I have 3 beautiful boys……and I knew after I had Mr 2…..that I wanted another. I never voiced it outwardly however😂😂😂😂18 months later Mr 3 came along and I felt “complete”. So. I had 3 babies aged 3 years-18months and a newborn. It was a crazy ride but so incredible. Enjoy every second.

Hi Gemma, we used to have rabbits and I found that they can be nasty to each other and someone told me that rabbits and guinea pigs live better together so I done that and they really do get on better than two rabbits 😊and guinea pigs are unbelievably loving and friendly and squeak when they hear and see you as they get really excited to see their owners xx
