What is Raft?
Raft throws you and your friends into an epic oceanic adventure! Alone or together, players battle to survive a perilous voyage across a vast sea! Gather debris, scavenge reefs and build your own floating home, but be wary of the man-eating sharks!

I love how chilled harvests the crops and just throws the seeds on the ground instead of replanting them; it's just so on brand
Yea that is kind of a problem in this type of game. He always takes and never replaces. Or he uses materials for pointless things like the rugs and the staircase. In this type of game resource management is very important.
I reacted to that too. Quite early he said stuff like how he was going to have to pull the whole team and such but I don't think he quite understood the research table so he just built it and walked away. He kept taking potatoes and eating them instead of replanting to increase the food supply. He scavenged for rocks instead of clay, sand, scrap and metals. He pulled the team alright... he pulled them down! Still fun to watch though. I've done everything in the game solo including building a pointlessly large raft and armoring it up. The grind made it kind of boring in the end and I wish I had that many friends to play a crazy raft game with.
I know!!! The number of times he put stuff in his inventory in the boxes and still just kept those random seeds for absolutely no reason. I had to put this video on in the background or Chilled was going to make me go crazy, lol. He has been playing too many deception games. It is quite hilarious to watch him cause unnecessary chaos though.
Tells everyone to refill the water, after drinking, but never does it himself.

i love how both of the 2 main people I watch that tried raft, (Chilled and Nogla) both wasted materials on a chair in the first 20 min of their adventure. that just makes me happy
I would love to see Chilled and the crew get into some more survival games. The deception games are great but you can still get some deception in these games >:)

The Platy situation was sad, man really wanted to help out and really got left behind, help only coming a few minutes later. Also why didn't anyone else drop the anchor when they all obviously saw they were slammed into it, Chilled and Platy have the excuse of running to farm.
They rly aren't the smartest sometimes tbh
I'm convinced everyone on the raft has some form of ADHD and that's why they can't focus on anything

I think the biggest pet-peeve when watching this was when they didn’t combine resources to free up space. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Chilled shooting his own team at 2:08:00 gives me Colony Survival flashbacks when he sabotaged the base with the zombie tunnel. Good times.
The fact that there’s seeds in Chilled’s inventory he never plants hurts my heart, LOL. 🤣 Classic Chilled.
You know this guy hasn’t grown much over the last few years but he gets 2/3 of his subscription count every video which is insane.
Have you seen the content he produces? He's as close to a mobile gamer as one can get. This is the first time in YEARS since he's played a game that wasn't a point and click. I miss the days when he played mine craft and the Sims, now he just stagnates playing among us and town of Salem as 50% of his content.. ones an old game that fell off and the other is a free to play game played through a literal website.... he might as well play happy wheels or go on new grounds for his content.

Fire watch towers? Sounds like you might be thinking of Balboa. If the island you're thinking of also has bears, then it's Balboa.

The realization from everyone when they realized that Platy has been left on an island killed me.
It stresses me out every time Anthony just puts stuff on the edge of the raft so it can be eaten by a shark.

Then he hoards the shit he stole all while dumping them into the ocean because he refuses to build more storage. I'm thinking he's watched a few videos of the game, saw an update video, and now considers himself an "expert" at a game I highly doubt he's played in years.

the anxiety/excitement of watching chilled's thirst bar going dangerously low at the 10 minute mark
two smelters is FAR from too much, in my solo world I got 2 and they are going all the time and in the world with my friends we got 5 running at all times and even that feels like it isn't always enough.
And the raft world is rather small and works like pac-man, when you each one edge, it simply teleports you to the opposite edge. So if you always head "north" then you will just run into the same island over and over, you gotta head a bit east and west to find "new" islands. And finally the sail can ONLY direct you perpendicular or along with the wind, north, it can't move you against the wind
Unstuck does NOT teleport you to the raft, it teleports you to the nearest surface, which for platy would be the ISLAND

If you guys are still playing and want more of the in game music, there is an option in the menu to reduce time between tracks. Not sure why it's so sparse by default.
It returrns! finished this up last week, its still good relaxing fun... except with friends who make everything so stressful!
A trick I use to not waste a bunch of stone on anchors is using the paddle to go around to the other side of the island and allowing the current to drift you into the island wedging you there while you explore.
