Off today's topic - I was invited to a fancy holiday party. This is outside my normal social gatherings. I immediately started shopping. Nothing was quite right. I then asked What would Alyssa do? I remembered my LBD summer dress and realized I love this dress and with tights and my fancier jewelery I could make a great outfit. Thank you for being my mentor!

The most surprising look, to me, was the "cozy layers" #12 (@6:00)...because it worked so well. I often wonder how people wear multiple coats/jackets/tops all at once and still look amazing. You showed me how!
I use this approach when I need to be slightly more formal in a cold environment, eg singing in a Medieval church in Winter. There’s a point though when I give up and do Michelin Man chic.

Love these vids. Occurred to me, that 2-jackets at the same time would be brilliant for air travel. As they say, wear all the heavy stuff and as much as possible to avoid packing it. Hmmm... Now you've got me thinkin'. I've got a week in Europe and a week on a cruise ship next year and trying to come up with a tight capsule wardrobe. Lots of ideas in this video! Thank yoooo.

Love this. Not very specific, but I love all the ideas (lots of screen grabs for later inspiration). I love your shirt. I cannot express how much I want a LONG sleeved shirt. My arms are too long for most brands. Yours is perfect. Looks so great on you. And I love the cut and color of your jacket. Been looking for one for so long.

Love love love! I'd love to see it styled belted over the tan wide leg trousers, maybe with the black belt and slingbacks, the blue oxford shirt with a few buttons open, cuffs casually turned up, layered gold necklaces. Very "Birkin Mom" aesthetic as the kids would say.

Thanks! I only have one blazer in a similar colour, but it’s a tweed/woven pattern so very much autumn/winter. I just haven’t even reaching for it as I feel the length is awkward to style but after watching this I feel more confident ❤

Im newish to your channel. Watched a lot of the newer and older videos in a short time and will be coming for more. Love your sense of style, and even though mine involves more color, im still getting a lot of inspirations here.
Biggest on the videos where you narrate your outfits as that allows me to watch them while also doing other things. Sometimes its difficult to find that time when i can give you my undivided attention 😅

Noooooooo! I like the idea of the vest with the blazer but probably for me wearing it over the blazer because with such a heavy chest I don't want to add bulk in that area. Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Right on time! Yesterday i pulled out my black blazer ,black velor stretch pant and black and white turtleneck and my white lace patent leather loafers, then added my ysl camera bag, i felt so good in that outfit. I learned a lot from this channel.thank you!

I was utterly amazed as this blazer doesn't look oversized and yet you were able to wear the fluffy sleeveless vest under it without looking like a rugby player 😮 How do you do this? Blows my mind. I recall an episode where Alyssa tucked her blazer (maybe this one) into her tartan plaid miniskirt. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I didn’t and still don’t know why anyone would ever want to do that, but she somehow got it done and didn’t rip any seams.
It’s because she is very slim and small framed. Many cannot pull that off and still look chic.

Wow. I got soooo much inspo from this! I have a ancient wool burgundy blazer I got maybe 30 years ago? It’s perfect for a ton of these looks. So is the brown blazer my son gave me-he doesn’t wear it-loads of ideas from this for that blazer as well! Thank you.

Thank you! I don’t own a beige jacket, but found some inspo for two jackets I haven’t worn in a while. This week is set to have slightly warmer temperatures after a few weeks of below freezing or close to. So I’ll see if I can get away with wearing a jacket in the office rather than a thick jumper. Skirts have to wait for spring or summer. I’m a three layers on my legs in winter gal :)
