An exquisite concert. Hadelich deserves all the accolades he gets but the orchestra is wonderful. The oboe is beautifully played and provides the support the soloist needs for the beautiful passages he delivers. This is a collaboration of so many musicians, their teachers, the countless instrument makers, all the technical support and let us not forget dear old Brahms.

That orchestra is AWESOME! It sounds like it and he have been performing together for years. The timing, pacing, and clarity of the passages were done well. There were musical moments between the soloist and the orchestra that I've never heard in other live performances. Real treat.

The same happens with the audience from his youtube recording of the Paganini Concerto with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. The audience gave him a very appropriate burst of applause after the first movement. But wait for the thunderous applause at the concertos end!! Possibly the best recording of this concerto on record.
