PKU Life with Brian Q

Listen to Brian's presentation in NL regarding his life with PKU. It includes a history of his family. His brother was born in 1974 and was undiagnosed at birth due to the Government of NL opting to not test, regardless of having the ability to test for PKU. Find out the role Carrot Cake played in both the boys being diagnosed with PKU. He continues to enlighten you on his journey as a child with supportive parents helping raise 3 boys. He discusses bullying, ignorance, his diet, birthday parties and going to school. Brian admits to straying and eventually coming off his food therapy. He advises you of the diagnoses that he gets as a result (not that he linked the two at the time) He explores with you what triggered him to get back to diet.
