Was this the best game of Tim Tebow's career?
Which performance would you like to see remembered next?
Harris Highlights when they won against Oklahoma in 09
Nick Chubb vs Louisville
Rg3 vs oklahoma
LeVeon Bell vs BoiseState 2012
Matt Leinart vs Oklahoma in the Championship I'm pretty sure his TD records still stand or Marcus Mariota vs the 2 year running undefeated Florida State team in the Rose Bowl game
The end of the absolute greatest era in the history of UF football.
ok
I was a student at UF in the mid-90's, and that was a pretty good time too. UF was beating teams by 50+ almost every game back then.
Spurrier turned Florida around during the '90s, no other coach came close! Spurrier had the task of rebuilding a team and did just that Urban was handed a ton of talent and left when the talent was over!
damnit's true
@@MrMadvoter1 Not true. Galen Hall left the cupboard full when he was fired. He was a great coach and a great recruiter. That's why Spurrier was able to have instant success his first season.
Man, Hernandez was a killer in this game...
Erik Torrijos booooo bad joke! XD
too soon bro
Too soon bro lol
One might say his career took off like a shot after this
Man Hernandez was a killer in real life lol
Dude that Florida team was SO STACKED. I recognized almost every player on their offense as an NFL starter, and with Tebow at the helm... they could have competed against any of the best college football teams ever.
Dolph Lundgren Yes but freaking Alabama đ€Ź
Christopher Maze The 2009 team was weaker than the 08 team, which ended yâall hopes that year. Hopefully them playing in the sec championship can pick back up at some point
The 09 team was not better than the 08 team. If Florida has Percy Harvin against Bama that year then its a totally different game. Harvin was one of the best college players I've ever had the pleasure of watching,
Christopher Maze And got spanked by a OU team, Clemson, And Ohio state. No Bama QB was ever as good as Tebow or any of the best of all time
Christopher Maze Lmaoooo, hey bro. They got 5 Nattyâs, but how many of them did you participate in outside of the couch? đđđđđ
Tebow was one of the best of all times, and most importantly, a strong soldier for Christ!!
So why didn't his God help him to become an NFL starter, or to make it in baseball?
@@calibrazxr750 he did start in the nfl lol. Also he said he was a soldier in Christ which he was. He made it to national spotlight and showed everyone he was about Christ and the message.
@@corderofuentes9654 but God did not exactly help him in his pursuit of a successful and long term NFL or MLB career. I know he started a few games, but I am referring to becoming a franchise QB, not a stop gap player.
@@calibrazxr750 Because God had another plan for him like spreading his word throughout the world
@@_iaden_640 and there aren't enough people already doing that? It seems to me to be immensely harsh to deny a man his dream, for somewhat selfish reasons. But then again, God has a history of being a vicious, egotistical tyrant.
Tim Tebow will go down as one of The BEST College Football players that people still are JEALOUS of OR LOVE to HATE.
The media hated him, but us football fans loved him.You didn't have to be a Florida fan to love Tebow.
I think today we recognize Tim as a person who stood by his endurance as well as his character.
It's so crazy how people like Tebow and Hernandez were on the same team and spent thousands of hours together...yet are a million miles apart on a human level.
Great observation. You had both good and evil as teammates on a winning team.
It is rather bizarre looking back in hindsight that Tebow, one of the best examples of what human being should be, passing to Hernandez, one of the worst examples of a human being ever.
Tawnku Imi-Uru and Riley cooper
Hernandez had so much talent and went through a lot in his childhood. So sad it didn't work out. 1 mistake really can change your life.
Tawnku Imi-Uru lol
Tawnku Imi-Uru self and selfless
God will show his glory that way
So many somewhat productive NFL players in that offense my god, Tebow, Riley Cooper, Aaron Hernandez, Chris Rainey, Maurkeece Pouncey, Marcus Gilbert, etc
also deonte thompson
and then there was Percy Harvin...Brett Favre called him the best he ever threw to.
As an FSU fan, this dude would haunt your dreams. Was so good.
As an Auburn fan I really loved Tebow a great human being and example! He is truly one of the best!
Even as an LSU fan , Tebow was always one of my favorite athletes.
Probably one of the best Human Beings of all time! Much Respect to the Legend him self Timothy Tebow
He needed a mentor like Peyton Manning wished Denver kept Tebow to be under Peyton's wing
He needed the team to fix his throwing motion from the beginning and turn the offence to his needs not try to fit him in as this Prototype QB like Manning
Air Max yesssss and he wasnât that bad in the NFL just never got a chance
Manning came probably after 3 years Tebow left... Sounds good but it would have never happened. You were better off saying Brady should have been Tebows mentor seeing how they were teammates for a short while
Tim Tebow scored 34 times in 549 touches in his first 15.5 games and 13 plays in the NFL.
In 2017, this would rank 2nd in the NFL for total scores by a quarterback.
In 2010/2011, Tim Tebow scored 34 times in 549 touches (passing or rushing) in his first 15.5 games and 13 plays.
In 2010, Peyton Manning scored 33 times in 697 touches.
Tebow was 21% more efficient at scoring than Manning. He was already better than Manning
Manning didn't earn the job in Denver, Tebow did.
Mannng didnât score more times than Tebow until his 7th season in the NFL. Before 2011, only 2 of Manning's 13 seasons had more scores per touch than Tebow had in his first 16 games of playing time.
Tebow threw a TD every 16.4 attempts in 2010 and 19.6 attempts in his first 16 in 2010/2011
Orton threw a TD every 24.9 attempts in 2010 and 28 attempts in 2011.
Manning threw a TD every 20.5 attempts in 2010
Tebow also scored every 11.6 rushing attempts, ran for 937 yards and 46 rushing first downs.
19 TDs passing and 15 rushing scores. That's the same ratio he had in college with 88 passing and 57 rushing.
In 2012, Tim Tebow was the fastest scoring QB in their first 16 games of playing time since Dan Marino in 1984.
CyberviewU Tebooooooooow!!!!!!
One of the greats.
A unique athlete (which ended up curtailing any NFL career, as the NFL does not treat uniqueness kindly)...and one of the greatest pure competitors in college sports history.
The 2008 Florida Gators are right up their with 2001 Miami as one of the best teams of all time.
2001 Miami had way more talent.
08 Gators would kill 01 Hurricanes. Hurricanes was beast too though.
@@channel-rc1gd Nope.
Itâs so crazy how everyone turned on Tim Tebow! He is an amazing person and people wish they were half the man he is!! Iâve been a Tebow fan from high school!
Tim tebow the left handed Heisman winner
Tebow is the greatest cfb ever, nobody did it like him. Heâs a better man than any football player I have seen too.
Greatest college football player of all time
Tebow Tebow Tebow!
A sad day for every Gator!! Tebow's last game with the Gators!!đąđą
It's sad that the media mocked him for being a good person.
wasn't really "for being a good person" because there are many athletes who try to advocate for good deeds and don't get mocked
@@et99366 Of course it was, The media hates anyone who has faith in a God and openly talks about it. They prefer the cop killing Kaepernick over Tebow. Thats why ratings are worst ever for the NFL
@@youbestbequiet "cop killing Kaepernick" tf Kaepernick didnt kill anyone and performed a peaceful protest that he ran by military service don't be so butthurt. And yeah its not surprising that people don't want religion shoved in there face every 2 seconds by him
@@et99366 He supports cop killing, enough said about that trash. Its hilarious he can't get a town that wants him
@@youbestbequiet he never said he wanted cops to be killed tf are you on about
I remember that game. Head Coach at Cincinnati bailed on team to take Notre Dame Job. He knew Cincinnati was going to get a beat down. Florida was the 2nd Best Team in the Country that year. Behind Alabama.
Fuck Brian Kelly
Florida was better than Alabam that year. Sure, Alabama beat us. But, Percy Harvin was gone as well as Dan Mullen. Put those two back on the team and Florida would have won the National Championship this year. Steve Addazio couldn't call plays to save his life.
David Cole Alabama was the 3rd best team. Florida was the best. Percy Harvin and Mullen are in the SEC Chamoinship Florida wins. Texas was the 2nd best. If McCoy didnât get hurt Texas wins. It was 24-21 in the natty with 5 minutes left and GARRET GILBERT WAS QUARTERBACK. â09 Bama is the most overrated team ever. Benefited hugely off injuries to their success.
I always think it's amusing when these teams like Cincinatti can think just because they are undefeated that suddenly they are on par with the SEC. Almost every time this happens, the G5 undefeated team suffers a humiliating smackdown at the hands of a SEC or Big 10 team.
They knocked McCoy out itâs not like he didnât play so that success from injury shit donât apply here. Bama was head and shoulders better than that shitty little Texas team
End of a great one of the best ever to play and most passionate to play a time when players didn't opt out of all important bowl games played for there school no matter what something missing today selflessness .
Aaron Hernandez really killed it in this game.
bstove24 he was deadly
Nobody dared to tackle him
Tebow is the đ
God blessed him with amazing athletic talent. Was and still is my childhood hero.
Riley Cooper, Bobby Rainey, and Aaron Hernandez. How did I forget they were Gators?!?
Chris not Bobby but yeah crazy also deonte thompson
I watch this and I tear up man!!!! Love Tebow and the Gators
He had a killer tight endđ«đ«
What's even more impressive is UC scored!
Honestly, Iâm a Bama fan, and I am glad the College Football playoff didnât exist in 2009. I canât imagine even as good as Bama was, us beating this Florida team twice.
Love this guy!! Amazing football player with an exceptional character, unashamed of his Faith in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen Brother!
Jesus would tell him, hey put faith in my Father. There's more to this life than this world. Sanctify Yahweh, not popularize Jesus. #JAKEROJAS
Dude exactly i think he the nfl didnt like him or give him a chance was cuz of his faith
Amen
Iâm a Clemson fan. Heâs one of my favorite players.
As a diehard Bearcat fan, this game was tough to watch. You knew from kick off what was about to happen.
The poor guy never got a fair chance in the nfl
Orlando Colon yeah he did he just wasnt cut out for it
Lonnie Easley yes he was the first Heisman quarter back to win NFL playoff game in like 20 years John Elway had it out for him and screwed him over.
Elway didnât like that they were comparing Tebow to him..
If he played tight end, he'd be awesome!
He couldn't complete half of passes in that game(10/21) with four out of eleven Steeler starters out. Not really that impressive.
Heâs the first to thank everyone around him. Including God. The dude had arguably one of the best College QB careers ever and he never once talked about himself unless it was criticism. Idc what anybody says, this dude was special. Very kind heart
Best college player ever
I played the halftime show for this game. Was a lot of fun to be there the week leading up to it. Tebow put on quite a show
And now this man is a Tight End in Jacksonville after not playing for nearly 9 years. Unreal.
It's crazy how Tebow was still the most successful put of this team.
The fall off Florida had after Tebow and company left was and still is staggering. Hope to see them good again one day. Go Gators! đ
Same. Go gators
His jersey will be hung up on the rafters sooner than people think.
lmfao Hernandez really killin em out there.
I watch your vids all day in school. It saves me a lot of boredom throughout the day so thanksđ
Haha I appreciate it!
I have always hated the Gators growing up in South Florida, but I have always admired Tebow. He is the most humble and talented guy to have played the game.
Yeah wish we could find another player like Tim Florida needs that right now
1:56 âWide open is Aaron Hernandez. Still on his feet!â
...
Phenomenal job timmy. So so so so proud of you.
Thank you so much for making this video
That offensive line was awesome. Tim had all the time and room to work
I am a Georgia fan but he is a great man and was a great football player
We miss you Tebow
Tim Tebow is the REAL nfl quarterback who was discriminated against for taking a knee
Aaron Hernandez really murdered the competition in this game
Remember Cam Newton is a back up qb on this roster đł
Noah Young Remember he got kicked out of Florida for being a dumbass and not doing his own work.
ImAHottDogg đ€·đŸââïž and went on to win the heisman trophy and bcs national championship so...yeaahh
Noah Young So... He should have been punished for not doing his work and stealing a laptop. Cannot believe Auburn allowed him into his school. Same thing for Winston... Raped a girl and gets away with it. At least these two dudes have been trash the last few years.
ImAHottDogg he was punished. đ€ŠđŸââïž You legit said he got kicked out of Florida. So thereâs no problem anymore if heâs at a different school. As for Winston... I could care less for that weirdo đ
Noah Young I donât hate cam newton but he shouldnât have been allowed to play at for another year. College players should be punished but they never do, the coaches do though most of the time at least.
These highlights are killer
He does have a lot of windup on his throws, but he seems to be getting it to receivers on time pretty well.
hernandez was murdering those coverages.
It's crazy to think about the best connection Tebow had with a receiver(tight end) on that team was Hernandez those years. And too think about how different their paths were in life.
I was there!!!!!!! great game!!!
What a wonderful man. Love TEBOW. Congrats
For someone who cant throw he looked pretty good
I watched all Tebows game in college and pros. Even though his mechanics were wonky in college it wrkd. The pros totally kept changing his mechanics and it really messed him up. I wish we could have just seen him play his game with out trying to change him and called plays that wrkd for his offense. We could have seen a totally different longer career for him. It's unfortunate. We could have seen some crazy games from him.His accuracy and passing yard were crazy in college. Broncos did him no justice. And we'll the Jets were just a joke
Hernandez was slaying players on and off the field
Poor Cincy. Every time they have a undefeated season they play a bowl game against a sec team and loose. Tebow was a beast and that team was awesome.
What if Tebow left his jr year and Cam Newton stayed??
PNAS99 what if cam didnât steal the laptop
At least one more NC. And who knows what it would have led to after that. Maybe UF is Bama
Absolute dominance.
Isnât it amazing. Dude is awesome. It doesnât follow corporate media. Iâm always telling my kids the media is against right.
Hey UCF! Cincinnati would have been a playoff team and look at what happened!!!! Undefeated means nothing
Tj Adams Except UCF beat an sec team and cincinnati lost to one.
Accari Cuvell a 3 loss sec team LMFAO. Auburn was garbage away from home as it is. Bama and UGA would have killed them on a neutral field.
Also Cincinnati was in a power conference at the time so itâs not really a comparison. Anyone wouldâve got crushed that day
if only the playoff existed and we got a rematch vs bama
Anyone notice the guy at 2:10 when he was going for the tackle lol
If a team built around Tebow like they did Lamar Jackson I feel like he would still be in the league.
people donât realize how stacked this team was on both sides of the ball, iâd put 2006-2009 gators against any team in college football history
Even that Alabama team that just won????
LOVED HIM THEN. LOVE HIM NOW. LOVE HIM FOREVER. Check out a few of his speeches here on YT...great guy, great humanitarian, great Christian, great example.
Damn that guy could ball
Hernandez had a good game. His HS records were also out of this world.
Hernandez was killing them out there
Crazy To think Cincinnati wouldâve been in the playoffs if it were around this year
G.O.A.T.
Thatâs a sick opening
Just sucks his NFL career didnât pan out. Tebow was one of the greatest college players ever
Tebow and Hernandez were something special.
Why does it still blow my mind how a guy like Tebow and Aaron Hernandez were on the same team?đ
Can you spell, M.O.N.E.Y!!!!
Iïž love Tim Tebow
Help is available(LOL).
This man should most definitely be an NFL elite. Wish he would have gotten more chances
R.I.P. Double A
Aaron Hernandez gone but not forgotten
Fact they had UC ranked higher the Florida is crazy defending Champs see what they did to them demolished them good gracious
Imagine if the XFL in it's current format was around for a guy like Tebow? Shit
Oh YEAH,i forgot about that!
Man I wish they had the playoffs back then
I find it comical that UF was ranked under this Cincy team.
Best college QB of all time.
You bet! Go gators
love watching aaron hernandez highlights
tbh I forgot about this game
Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow are like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
rip 81đȘ(kinda)
gdog 422 yea i didnât realize he killed so much people
There you go Collin. What you will never be.
