    Please ask that farmer to get himself a large flock of chickens to help with the fly problem! I'm swishing at the flies on the screen, it's so bad! Hang up fly strips, use fly masks on the cows, do something!

    • @littlepumpkinseed
      @littlepumpkinseed Před rokem +1

      Even if they stay on the farm the mother is not aloud near them. Quite traumatic if you realise they have to go trough it every year. I can imagen it feeling like 14 miscarriage because you don't have your child.

      Flies life cycle is so fast they become imune for pestesides in a couple of months. Plus they are also toxic for other living animals, like the cow herself. I did see some people try to create sticky traps! 😅

  • @CatGuyTX

    I've been watching Bondi vet for the better part of a year. Today I watched the vet cut out the third eyelid of the cow without any anesthetic of any kind that the viewers are aware of. I can't imagine the pain and the uncomfortableness of what that cow went through. Usually what I see is caring and compassionate for the animals. I did not see that today. I'm deeply disturbed.

    • @WolfHeartMedia
      @WolfHeartMedia Před rokem +1

      @CatGuyTX Dr Andrew put numbing drops in Sally's eye the very first thing before he started doing anything to her. He was very compassionate and said the drops would keep her from feeling any type of pain while he worked on her eye. Maybe you should watch the video again.

    I only found out recently that Dairy Cows suffer terribly after giving birth, because in order for Dairy Cows to produce milk they have to get pregnant. The milk is supposed to be for the calf, but they take the calf from the Mother leaving her in total despair crying for her baby. And that folks is how we get our Milk, because they can't give it to the calfs, they need it for the market place. So the Calfs are taken away after a couple of hours from being born and taken to separate pens to be fed with artifical milk. Is this right ? No because it causes terrible suffering for the mothers. All mothers in the animal kingdom have a close bond with their newborn, and to steal them away from them is both cruel and unacceptable. And calfs need their mothers milk for all kinds of health benefits, and fake milk doesn't cut it like the real mothers milk.

      @-Devy- Před rokem +1

      You only found out recently? What are you, 5?
      Not you nor anyone else can really say much about how the cow feels about this. Just because you're able to make an observation doesn't mean that your interpretation of that observation is in any way applicable and relevant to that situation. Just because you interpret something as looking sad doesn't mean that the animal actually feels this way. People are so quick to project their own thoughts and feelings onto animals.
      Also don't worry about the calves, they'll soon be veal.
