I too was given a sample of De Los Santos and after wearing it out I had the most compliments ever! It quickly became my favourite and now it’s my staple scent! It’s such a rich, warm scent! I want to get Sellier too, but I do have Tobacco Mandarin from the Byredo extract collection. I feel we have the same scent style and if you love those woodier, darker, smokier scents too, that is also a gorgeous fragrance!
Love Le Labo Another 13. I worked with a client who was wearing it, and had to ask what she was wearing so that I could purchase it. I've been layering it with a new find, Louis Vuitton Matiere Noire. I also love Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade (very smoky, oudy). Since you like Celine Black Tie, I think you'll love Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir. I was working with a client this week who also wears it, and everyone on the sales floor kept stopping to figure out who smelled so good, and what they were wearing.

I just got my first ‘nice’ fragrance (LV L’Immensite which was definitely a basic/safe choice) but there is 100% truth to how long a little bit lasts!

Very nice collection! But what's worth mentioning, and it's maybe a little bit of a correction, is that wearing higher quality fragrances doesn't necessarily mean they'll project more or have better longevity. One of the determining factors for that is the concentration (cologne, edt, edp, parfum, extrait, attar, etc). Also, skin chemistry and diet/hydration play into this as well.
Always sample as much as possible, find your vibe, get decants from reputable websites, and only buy bottles of fragrances you'll wear often. And be prepared for your smell preferences to possibly change every few years!
Next time you’re in Chicago head to the Gold Coast, Le Labo on Oak St. and ask for Carlos. He’s amazing, always wanna buy everything in that shop!! Rose 31 is my favorite! Also Le Labo Hinoki body wash / hand wash are 🔥!

Another 13 is proper. Nothing like it. I recommend you try out Lavande 31 by Le Labo and Bal Al Frique by Byredo. Great vid.

You gotta try out D. S. and Durga (based in NYC). Also a niche fragrance house with lots of interesting combinations. You might like Amber Kiso - dark, smokey, woody, incense. Amber Teutonic - woody, slightly citrusy, dark, amber. Burning barbershop - smokey, medicinal, dark. D. S. (Gold label) dark, floral, woody and slightly citrusy. Notorious oud - dark, medicinal, woody. Bow makers- resinous, woody, gasoline.
Also lookout for Le Labo’s city exclusives during September. Mousse de chene (amsterdam), poivre (london), cedrat (berlin) arr the ones im working through

FM is my favorite house! My top 3: Promise, The Moon, and Portrait of a Lady. But I would recommend trying them out first, none of these is blind buy safe 😅
Have you ever tried any of the Argo Fragrances? Not only are the bottles beautiful but the oils they use are top quality.

I learned my lesson on blind purchasing a fragrance. (I’m looking at you Byredo Mister Marvelous) I really want a vanilla fragrance but have no way of sampling that Celine Black Tie. Right now my daily is Mojave Ghost.
LV fragrances are great. Afternoon Swim for the summer. Le Roses Sables is definitely a great date night.

Love your scent selection. Thoughts on Tom Ford Oud Wood? I’m a huge fan of Dior, Jo Malone scents too.
instead of oud wood, buy hermetica dark oud, instead of dior sauvage buy hermetica redmoon. You can get way better perfumes for these „luxury“ perfume prices… You should start looking into niche fragrances.

Tried the De Los Santos today in SpaceNK in London. Very nice but I'm not sure about the longevity. One of my favourites is Quercia by Aqua Di Parma

Enjoyable, relaxed video. I would just disagree though that fragrances are "investments". An expensive commodity that diminishes away to nothing can't really be called an investment. Not being an idiot here, but as I've heard a few fragrance youtubers say this, I just thought I'd make that point. Cheers.

Keep them in a cupboard away from UV and heat. Helps to preserve them.

@@coltex2397 Ink is really beautiful! One of their popular scents. Like the scent of blue ink but earthy and a touch floral. Some of my other favs are Woodlands, Leather, and Patchouli. Fig, and raincloud are pretty unique for fruitier scents.

Byredo is overrated af. I love the scent but the performance and longevity is so pathetic for the amount of money you pay. It's such a shame as I do own Mojave Ghost.
Louis Vuitton on the other hand is crazy expensive but it's definitely worth it and it's awesome how you can refill it for cheaper. I own Imagination, City of Stars, Orage, and Ombre Nomade. They're amazing.
Would highly recommend Amouage, Xerjoff, and BDK Parfums if you can. I'm also a big fan of Etat Libre d'Orange but they're not for everybody since they release some duds. You or Someone Like You is one of my favorites of all time though.
