I just use my DJI Pocket 3 for my vlogs because it’s light and so easy to carry around.
I debated about getting a mirrorless camera but knowing myself, I am not gonna want to carry that around. 😅

I hate vlogging my travels and have a lot of equipment to do actually that. With today's level of cameras on our phones, it really captures both video and audio on a level that your audience can't really tell the difference. I would invest in a great power bank and use your phone for your travel. This is all depending that you have at least an iPhone Pro of the last two years.

I think using iPhone and wireless mic is the way to go because sometimes places don’t allow you to film with digital camera/dslr but you can almost always get away with phone cameras.

Firstly, loved the painting haul. Also I think you’re doing amazing when it comes to the quality of the vlogs during your travels. I found the quality of your Mexico vlog to be amazing. The shots looked beautiful and the audio quality was great too! But a new camera can never hurt 😏
I think the paint color coordinates well with the other colors in the bathroom.
To have friends in the same building as you is my whole life growing up in nyc it’s how I first made friends before school. Our parents would know each other and slowly the kids got to know each other ❤love and miss nyc but for sure if you weren’t born and raised it’s not the same

Can't wait to see how you update the guest bathroom but I think the warmth could be brought out by gold frames & maybe more color in the photos? I think some color in the visuals would bring some dimension & warmth to the space and add to the beautiful wood vanity & tile/marble

Addressing your camera question. Consider the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. It is great for what you are talking about using it for. I recorded a review of it on my channel. Many other creators have done reviews, too.

Is the video freezing for everyone at around 11:47? It did the same thing in the previous vlog. Also, get the smeller camera! Even w/poor audio it’s better than not vlogging or get one of those mini portable microphones you can attach to your sweater

Also, just get your LV side trunk reassessed. Back in 2019, my mom had her whole bag replaced by LV because of quality issues. Like replace the whole bag! Also, I’ve had my first toiletry pouch from them. We assess for normal wear and tear I mean, you won’t lose anything? Just give it a shot!
Get the smaller camera. The DJI is really small and good quality. Enjoy your videos alot and looking forward to seeing more of them!
I honestly prefer the lower quality of the out in about sections. Makes it feel more real and genuine. Like high quality back at base though.

Hey, regarding your problem with the quality/ filming in public. You could use your Phone. Iphone 4K quality is pretty good. There are external storage you can plug into your phone for more storage, since 4K video on Iphone usually take a lot of storage.

Definitely go for the RX. In terms of an audio person. I always work off the rule of thumb that 80% attention works to visuals and 20% to audio. At the end of the day we can tweak our audio up and down on phones, etc. but there’s no way for an end user to adjust content. So take what you can stick in a bag to snap out in a moment and vlog. Not what you feel ‘needs to be’ for AV content. It’ll make it more natural and that’s what we want; BenT content. Not A1 absolute hi-res everything.
Think of it as just taking us along for the ride, how you’d include a friend.

Bathroom looks great. LV, very disappointing. Similar to a wallet I bought. For the price they charge, it's a bit "rich" of them if they didn't fix it. You are right the area that cracked the plastic PVC is a stress point, that is why. Great vlog, by the way, Ben.
Buy a small camera with good quality and a wireless microphone to have on you! You can also use your dji osmo pocket. Its better with "worse" quality than no footage at all! 🤪 Maybe also incorporate some nice B-roll in your videos😍
