- In this series we will be visiting real life zoos around the Netherlands and perhaps even beyond! Today we are visiting Best Zoo, a small zoo in the town of Best. Some to some lovely, as well as some questionable exhibits.

Goede review, zelf ben ik nog niet in BestZoo geweest maar heb er wel al genoeg verhalen over gehoord. Als ik heel eerlijk ben vind ik dit park er verschrikkelijk uit zien en lijkt alles echt verouderd.
De grote katachtigen worden echt belachelijk slecht gehuisvest. Ze hebben enkele jaren geleden een groot nest gekregen bij de sri lanka panters dus dat zal het grote aantal dieren verklaren waar je het in jouw video over had. Snap ook niet dat ze al dat geld voor de entree niet in verblijven voor de panters hebben gestoken, wat jij al terecht aangaf.
Fijn dat je ook de verblijven filmt! Je krijgt echt een goede indruk van de dierentuin zo. Bij bijna alle video-tours van dierentuinen zie je alleen maar dieren. Ga zo door!!!
Dat is zeker ook mijn doel!
nice tour of a zoo that I haven’t seen yet in the Netherlands… I always have some mixed feelings seeing big birds in zoos in aviaries where they cannot really spread their wings and fly around. So it’s always kind of sad to see those.
What I really like about those small zoos is, that they often have some very rare animals that you don’t see to often in the bigger zoos!
The leopard cage is very depressing though!
For that breeding prohibition I think zoos don’t care about that to much. Zoo Leipzig just got a breeding group Coatis last year from Guatemala.
Yeah I'd agree on a lot of that.
Interesting to hear about Leipzig though! I wonder how all that stuff is gonna develop as time progresses. Guess we'll have to wait and see
I actually went there last year doing a zoo road trip in the Netherlands. It is very fun to hear some other people's opinions on it. It is quite an interesting place. I remember it as seven leopards as well. Nice video by the way

I'm a big zoofan, but i think this zoo is not so '' best'' actually this kind of zoo is a bad commercial for the dutch zoos. But nice pictures and youre trips also.
There's probably a reason this zoo isn't part of the National, nor the European association of zoos. There's many small zoos like this, and I like going to them for the sake of documenting what's out there. Some people like the challenge of making a low budget zoo in Planet Zoo, and places like this are nice inspiration for that.
