  • Hey You Tube Family we are back with another build video on our Arctic Acers Geodesic Greenhouse Build. This video is officially part one of the build!
We are building a 26' Geo Dome for our 4 acre homestead to supply our family with fresh vegetables, Herbs and fruit year around. We live in central North Alberta in a Zone 3 Climate; so our summers are short and our winters are long and can be quite harsh at times with temperatures dipping to -50 with wind chills. With our ever changing world and the food scarcity shortages, inconstancies in product, rising prices and of course the rise in food borne illnesses, we are striving to be more self sufficient and rely on the land we have.
Don't forget to hit that SUBSCRIBE Button as we will have many more videos to come on our Arctic Acres Geodome Build and of course the fun stuff once we actually get growing!

Thanks for watching and it was defiantly an interesting build. We cant wait until it’s all finished inside. Also we wish we could move to BC… lucky you!

Very nice! We are building our 20ft dome in Northern Ontario. My wife is driving me nuts for us to get it done but happy wife happy life. We are only getting about 60 days sans frost so we certainly will need it.

That’s awesome. Our summers are far too short! We don’t want to think about frost but it will be here sooner than later. Good luck with your build
