  • In this video, I talked about the worst programs for international students to study in Canada in 2023. I covered programs that have limited job prospects, low employability rates, and not eligible for post graduation work permit. If you want to stay in Canada after graduation, you should avoid these programs completely.

Registered Nurse (RN) is a 4-yr Bachelor degree in university. Licensed Practical Nurse LPN (or Registered Practical Nurse RPN in Ontario) is a 2-yr college diploma. All nursing graduates must study and pass NCLEX exam for licensing with the province. There is a big salary gap between RN and LPN/RPN. You can judge the quality of nursing schools by the percentage of students passing NCLEX exam in first try. For Ontario, the information can be found in "Nursing Registration Exams Report 2021". Similar publications are available for other provinces.

Hello, Mr Peter. I have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Would it be okay to apply for a post graduate course in MBA? Would it qualify for a PGWP and is it in high demand in Canada?

      Yes. It's a good option.
You will be eligible for pgwp if you study in a school that their program is eligible for pgwp.

For culinary skill, you can check out George Brown college or Holland College. I worked in the kitchen of a 5-star hotel in Montreal when I was a student, many cooks don't have degrees. They worked from bottom up. Similarly, with hospitality and hotel management, people without diplomas and certificates are working in the field. They received on-the-job training. Investigate a bit more. One agent said to avoid hospitality because these jobs don't pay well and you end up taking reservations.
