    It’s a cool feeling to go back and read haters comments after knowing how well the F-35 is doing today.

      ?!? Doesnt it still suck. Stealth and Comms tech top notch .... actual flight performance signicantly inferior to 40 year old planes.

    Can you see how the front wheel followed that mark when he was moving?? He could see through the plane with that helmet.

    how do pilots train to fly a plane with one seat only?? should it for a few flights fly it with an instructor?? it doesn't make any sense so they jump from the simulator to the real thing by themselves ?

      E I N S they have training on other aircraft, those pilots would come from the fa 18 so while being different it's not totally dropping them in the deep end

      +Adam15197 Yeah, we are replacing a hornet with an aircraft with better kinematcis, better manoeuvrability, twice the internal fuel, VLO, sensors which are two generations more advanced, and almost twice the payload.
      How the fuck is a hornet better?????

    The AUS government should be buying aircraft that can put out bush fires not wasting money on this overpriced junk

  • @snsm6730
    @snsm6730 Před 8 lety +1

    You gotta feel at least a little sorry for this guy. The Australians foolishly agreed to
    buy a jet that can be out-flown by an older F16, is unreliable, over complex and will
    be obsolete when finally delivered... Lockheed Martin will do VERY WELL however,

      Monster LMA yeh but if the enemy turns too quickly, the F35 pilot might end up hurting his neck trying to lock on. Also, I dunno where but I've heard (could be wrong don't quote me on this) that the F35 helmet can snap a pilot's neck when ejecting if the pilot doesn't weigh a certain amount

      That stuff has been fixed already. Ejector seat,helmet and fuel overheat and software shutdown were some of the latest haters nagged about but all have been fixed. The first aircraft with these fixes are the 24 that will get IOC this year.
