Endo’s success at Liverpool is a great example of “premier league bias” and why people don’t recognize talent outside of the premier league. Remember when Liverpool signed him, due to him being 31 years old and coming from Stuttgart a lot of people saw him as a “panic buy” while some saw him as a smart investment as Jurgen Klopp and the coaching staff knew what they were doing when they signed him. If you look at Liverpool’s midfield assuming everyone is healthy, that is well balanced having Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai further forward with Endo as the number 6 and he produced another phenomenal performance and for many of us he exceeded expectations and me myself I didn’t expect much from him but I’ve really been impressed with his performances. To me it just shows you that people need to realize that talent exists outside of the premier league.

Sign a modification to his contract paying him 50% of what he earns now during his 1 year sabbatical and rotate the leave with his coaching staff. Let Pep Lindjers be the coach for next season. Klopp off, Pep gets a taste of coaching. Liverpool fans ecstatic! Problem solved.

Their control is gone. Like, literally. Gundo: gone. Mahrez: gone. Grealish: injured.
When you look at the attacking 5 of City's Best XI last season, they had 2 vertical players (KDB, Haaland), 2 controlling players (Bernardo, Grealish) and one hybrid (Gundo).
Now look at the attacking 5 in this game.
    Haaland: vertical
    KDB: vertical
    Alvarez: vertical
    Foden: vertical
....and Bernardo who was the only non-vertical of the five.
There's no balance. I'm surprised Pep didn't start with Kova instead of Alvarez, with Foden on LW and Bernardo on RW. I'm not saying that's a perfect set up but at least it wouldn't lack something even slightly resembling balance.

I don’t know what Pep is thinking with Alvarez. He’s clearly not good enough in tight space to receive the ball deep.

@@abhisheksavant4307 Real Madrid and Bayern couldn't even "cook" Leipzig or Copenhagen lol. At least say Inter or Arsenal.
