Badger, Tiger, Turtle, X, X is an amazing order. Badger kills something, then triggers twice, killing two more enemies. You lose your tiger and turtle, which gives melon armor to two units behind to clean up.
The way you ordered your comment gave me a headache.

What ever comes out of the spider the first time is more likely to show up so a good strat is to buy a spider just to see what it has and sell it if it's bad

Dude! I came up with this badger tech like right before the update. No joke, I was trying to run badger-ox as midgame because it sounded kinda Pog, and then I realised I could run it at the front with giraffe and just have it grow to 50/50 (I actually stacked with monkey and then ditched the giraffe for a second monkey). I actually dealt 150 dmg to 4 units using tiger like this. Badger is my favourite unit from then on, and badger offense is "my strat". Actually super hyped seeing you showcase its potential a little bit, looking foward to a lvl 3 badger win on your end. :)

I'm so with you NL, these builds are the most fun. I had hedgehog, hedgehog, elephant, blowfish, blowfish. Go to 6 wins and just got ruined by the scaling garlic teams. But the most fun in the game at the moment
Whale, hedgehog, puffer, lvl3 skunk, tiger was a squad that absolutely shredded me one time. My beefy squad was torn to pieces

I've done a lot of huge badger in front of a deer and it just chunks teams' setup pets. Glad NL found out the tech

I’m starting to find these SAP videos to be video diary of NL’s slow decent into madness and insanity
New HP system has made duck so broken, before it was lose 1/4th of your HP now it's lose 1/10th. If you make it to tier 3 it's the same but that's several turns taking no damage
I think people overrate how good it makes ducks. The HP you lose early is meaningful, and the scaling falls off pretty hard. It’s only good at getting early tier two/tier three wins, after that it’s buffs aren’t meaningful enough
Unless you lose only the first match or all four of your first matches mathematically there is almost no difference to how many losses you can actually take, as compared to just having 4 hp. So I wouldn't say its taking no damage. It just helps out if you get bad rng on first shop honestly. Also duck def not "broken" just playable now.
Regardless of what you do, you can lose a MAXIMUM of 6 times. That's if you lose your first six matches consecutively. So it is not 1/10th it's more complicated than 1/6th even.

To me it's not that the loss is tough, it's that not winning is tough. Usually that last win or two are the toughest to get past. If you don't throw the first 1-3 rounds for ducks and win those 3, you only need 7 more.
If you get ducks and let's say lose 2 rounds, it's not the fact you still have 3 lives or so, it's that you still need 10 wins with those lives. Rather than 8 wins with minimum 4 lives assuming you win the first 2 rounds.
Easy video idea. Make a montage of all the times NL calls an animal by the wrong name.

32:29 - Imagine pepper splashing and killing that 2nd dodo . Splash breaks any frontline melon armor, so its useful when its alive and when it dies it will deal massive damage and buff Ox aswell.

So this vid's ancient and I'm sure he figures it out at some point, but the 10 hp mechanic =/= 1/10th of your hp lost at the first round. Let's look at a couple of scenarios:
if you lose out, you will lose: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 (putting you on -2) -- 6 losses
if you don't lose round 1, you can 'at best' lose: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3 (putting you on -1) -- 5 losses
if you don't lose rounds 1 or 2, you get: 2, 2, 3, 3 (putting you on 0) -- 4 losses
if you start losing from round 4, you get: 2, 3, 3, 3 (putting you on -1) -- 4 losses
if you never lose until late game, you will lose: 3, 3, 3, 3 (putting you on -2) -- 4 losses
What the change has done is introduce a 'grace period' where you can lose 2 rounds in a row and basically have had 2 free rounds compared to how the game used to play before the change. That's _epic_ and it's done a lot for 'cushioning' early bad rolls and also allowing you to play into eg. "Duck Meta" -- but it's not exactly losing 1/10th of your hp. Just to put it into perspective.
I successfully won the badger at front run. Monkey/Tiger/Badger frontline works incredible
Badger + Ox. The only synergy that actually gets worse the more you invest in it. But somehow it still pogs

Instead of clearing their throat vocalists usually have some water with them. When drinking, the mechanical movements of your larynx remove the mucus from your vocal folds and you just swallow them with water. Hydration + vocal clarity.

42:10 I would have sold the otter, bought the ant, and then pilled the ant. You have extra gold because of the swan, so I think it makes sense to go for the more expensive play.

For premium duck tech I would recommend freezing what you want in the shop and rerolling something like a horse so you don't needlessly buff a useless unit. You'll refund the roll cost with the duck sale.

Dearest Egglord, that first duck play was sub-par. You made your tier 3 animal in the shop which was a whale and you decided to go with it. With a surplus of gold (plus 2 more once you sell the ducks) you should take advantage of your rolls. Freeze the whale, then roll for better units to get the buff from selling the ducks. You know full-well you aren't buying the horse, and the cricket was placed in front of the whale so it's stats were useless as well. Maybe you roll into a fish that you can turn into a 4/5 or a dodo that can become a 3/5. Even if you don't have the gold to buy the buffed units, they can be frozen for next round. Take your duck game to the next level

It eats the scorpion, it resurrects as a 1/1, then it spits out another 1/1 after dying. Two scorpions for the price of a mushroom.

I know the new hp meta has helped the duck a bunch, but can we talk about what to do about dodo/rooster? It's the most oppressive build at the moment and it doesn't really feel like you can have much of a counter the moment they get both to lvl2 and beyond. You litteraly fight 5vs7. I'd guess the best counter is a well stated spawner build but it feels a lot harder to get there.
Don't know if it helps you because I've only really managed to pull it off twice but I was smoking dodo/rooster with my dodo/rhino( w/melon). I had the rhino and dodo & lvl 3 so it was hitting for 50 & killing any chick that spawned with his ability before they could attack.
@@natedeezy1652 Yeah though about the rhino and while in theory it works, it does have the problem of rhino being a tier 5. So it comes out later than dodo/rooster, and requires it to get strong enought to kill the rooster without dying itself. If it can do that it's goated, if it can't it's useless.
@@TemperanceL2 yeah I totally agree it's definitely more of a situational counter that needs luck, I wouldn't be surprised if rooster gets switched to tier 5-6 or dodo soon cause if you combine duck meta with a dodo it's too op. Good luck in your games, I just got the expansion currently getting my ass kicked by all the new builds lol
