Some important thing to notice:
1. Every daylight picture is taken in auto mode without adjusting any of the settings and they are being displayed without edits!
2. Videos are recorded at 4k@30fps and at 1080p@30fps!
3. All pictures during night are taken with night mode enabled with automatic seconds!

In my opinion, Redminote 12 Pro looks better. I'd like the comparison in low conditions at night.
12 pro is more natural. A54, as mentioned, is visually more appealing. A54 has haze though when there's too much light.
I think I like it better on the note 12 pro
I have bought Redmi note pro 12. The main camera is very good and it's able to capture good photos in the night. A camera is good only when it's able to take good photos in the low light and in dark places. The front camera is just satisfactory.

Great job. Really it depends on which camera takes the sharpest photo consistently.
Most times I take 5 to 15 photos of the same shot and sometimes i like the flares and sometimes not. Everything thing else will be done in post.
So a clear photo and nice interesting dynamics of light and shadow is important in a cameras program choices.
I like how the realme takes photos, but I'm checking out other phones, because i need a good phone as well as a good camera on my phone.
So thanks for teaching me something new since I know nothing of these phones. ✌️😊
Edit. I just looked it up. You can get more memory and charger at less cost for the 12 pro, but more updates for the galaxy.
12 pro for me since you get more up front. Tomorrow is never promised, so future updates isn't as important. 😊

In the galaxy A54, took pics with saturated colours. On the other hand, Redmi Note 12 Pro, makes pics with more realistic colours. Maybe it's for the Sony sensor, I always looking for a Sony sensor in camera mobiles, for me the best

Hello there, can you tell me what model of Redmi note 12 pro? the one released for the west has 2 or 3 i cant remember however the Chinese version has one larger main camera and 3 smaller below with one flash, the Chinese version is available niw online and has NFC which is a must have.
I have had a galaxy note and family members have had Samsung phones and i notice that samsung devices will all have more of a pink hue, warmer photos and not as realistic as Xiaomi/Redmi devices.

Try use night mode in day photos, in direct sunlight, everywhere, and you will see the pictures are very sharp and detailed.

exceptional comparison video, thank you! you are too good to live in Turkey :) i go for A54 because I had Redmi 7A before and it takes A LOT OF TIME to open the camera and switch in between camera modes. my ipod 5th gen camera opens probably 20 times faster than the Redmi 7A. No. Not again.

Very nice and detailed test. A54 have really nice camera for non-S series Samsung, in terms of low light, thing where only S series or another manufacturers can do the job nicely before. The only thing I would like to see - how A34 looks like in test like this, is it closer to A53/A72 or really closer to A54 (low light mostly). Beautiful voice!

I would buy S23+ but their photos are blurry - hardware defect, "bananagate". Because of this reason I will take A54. It's so shameful! S23 Ultra is so big and I want place in my pocket :D

Amazing comparison
Both solid cameras for the price range. I would argue that the primary camera is 90% of the rear camera experience so concentrating on that, both had pros and cons and either would suffice. Therefore it will come down to other factors. Not an Exynos fan, so A54 is a no-go zone. Shame Samsung dumped their own chip in it, as no one is buying that, it is maybe a poor choice for future-proofing.
My choice would be neither. The Pixel 7a if the price is right, or a Pixel 6 that can be had for a few dollars more if you can grab one when they show up.

All i want is 12 bit photos and a 10 bit display. the samsung has an 8 bit pannel and 8 bit photos, so, my decision is clear.

Note 12 pro Camera is great on low light. I bought a non-samsung phone coz Samsung has LCD issues. Note 12 pro is a good choice, more premium look , I got the white color.
So far, is it good?
Redmi note 12 pro isn't good for photos apart from main camera, ois is poor , ultrawide has flare issues and lots of noise, no use in night mode, 2mp isn't good. AI mode makes green colours look oversaturated, selfie camera can have reddish skin tones at times. Auto focus is a hit or miss Night video mode video is too dark. Only android 12 support. I've had the phone a few weeks and tied out the cameras properly I wish I bought the a54 instead
With all these complaints, bet you'll have much more complaints with the samsung

Night photos on Redmi looks oversharpened and overprocessed... they don't look natural at all... but still usable for anyone as most of us are not professional photographers and we usually take photos to post on social media, so the difference between the two devices doesn't matter that much.
Images are flat in a54.
My opinion redmi note 12pro plus is better
this one was very bias. I have had samsung for 10+ years. Samsung has poor and just bad photo quality. Every picture gets white washed. No depth, at all
