If you mean double ignition and therefore two sparking plug, of cause, the system becomes more reliable. If you plan to buy this engine modification you need to install some switches for testingt every ignition system before the flight. Otherwise it is impossible to know whether the primary ignition works or not. I think it is not necessary to have two sparking plug in the engine head with the single ignition system. You just need to have a good quality sparking plug and take care of well fuel mixture quality.
I found some oil leakage. Not so much. About 5-10 drops after each flight. They were located on the oil seal behind the screw hub. The issue was solved by replacing the o-ring. I have installed the new one with 2,1 mm thikness. (page 104 in the Maintenance_manual_Cosmos300_Eng_022. position #35)
@@mgmrateconfirmation8404 I spent about an hour. It was no too hard to unscrew the left-handed screw and remove the propeller hub from the shaft. A little bit unhandy to remove the bushing with o-ring. The hand starter has a flash spring so it is very easy to start the motor. One issue is when the weather is cold (appr. -10 -16 deg) the rope is pulled back a little slowly. And if you quickly release the starter handle it may cause the rope come off the pulley. But no problem to put it back on pulley.
Do you recommend the Dual Spark? Or just change the single spark every 15 to 20 hrs?
