About TEDx:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations) - Zábava
She was my first dance teacher...I was 3; she was 16. went back stage after seeing her in a play. She remembered me, and we did the teapot dance! I'm so glad to see her looking so great.
Carmen DeLavallade is QUEEN.
Superb. Thank you for sharing this exquisite performance. Carmen Delavallade is proof that age is only a number.
the very best - with so much "class" , grace, wisdom, humanness, (and a sense of joy/humor pervading each moment) -
You made me cry, Carmen. Thank you. Such beauty!
She has still "got it." Beautiful.
What a beautiful interpretation!
Such a gem.
I volunteered in a NYC tribute to her, featuring a dance to Etta James' "At Last", Phyllicia Rashad and Keith David were in attendance . .. More than 20 yrs ago
This lady is the real deal as a performer. If her show, "As I Remember It" comes to your city, you want to make it a point to go see it. It will be time & money well spent. It was just here in Pittsburgh and, in a word - Amazing!!
I love this elegant beautiful woman. Thank you for sharing.
