I get a huge kick out of the part where Deadpool says "Wait!! You're probably wondering why the red suit? Well, that's so bad guys don't see me bleed. This guy's got the right idea, he wore the brown pants."
I swear, Ryan Reynolds was born to play Deadpool. He nailed the character so damn well that we forgot about the atrocity that was the Green Lantern movie.
This is one of those movies in which so much happens almost non-stop that you can barely keep up with everything, so rewatches never get boring.

Stan Lee was around in the 60’s and 70’s and definitely partied in clubs like Studio 54 so of course Stan Lee was cool for this cameo, he did cameos in most of the Marvel movies since the mid 90’s because he was proud of his legacy and wanted to be represented

Fun Fact: While filming, Ryan Reynolds visited sick kids, via Make-A-Wish foundation, as Deadpool.
Art Imitates Life Fact: Ryan Reynolds revealed that the taxi driver character Dopinder (Karan Soni) was named after "a really cool guy" he knew in elementary school who died when hit by lightning. The character was meant to be a tribute to him.
Not A CGI Costume Fact: The Deadpool costume originally had a muscle layer underneath but it had to be removed. Ryan Reynolds was so muscular, the costume was not only too tight for him, but it made him look overlarge. Ryan Reynolds was allowed to keep his Deadpool costume after filming had completed. Technically he didn't ask to, nor did he give anyone the chance to take it from him. When 20th Century Fox found out about this, the studio just let him keep it.
Jump Starter Fact: A three-minute test reel was shot in January 2012 in an attempt to convince the heads of the studio to move forward with the movie. On August 1, 2014, the footage was released (aka: LEAKED) to the public and, based on the overwhelmingly positive response from fans, the film finally began production. The footage was so popular that part of it was recreated for the actual film. This included the opening scene with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) on the highway which leads to the fight scene in the car.

I remember going to the theaters with my coworkers to see this, this film had as laughing so hard. You gotta love Ryan Reynolds films, cause you’re always in for a good time. All the 4th wall breaks are so well done, it’s not even funny.

I don't really goof over movie stars that much ever but I gotta say Ryan Reynolds may be the perfect star to me at every level. I follow his YT channel and the dude is consistently hilarious and at peak level with everything he does. The film shorts, the commercials, the fake ads, the promos, the guy is just likeable as hell, has a solid heart, and brings laughter to countless millions. Class act.

Negasonic Teenage Warhead was indeed an X-Man in the comics. However, her powers had to do with telepathy and seeing the future.
In the movie, they seem to have given her the powers of another character: Cannonball. The biggest difference in their powers is that Cannonball could fly. They movie writers liked her name, but wanted her to have powers that match.
Since Deadpool, Negasonic has learned to use her powers in a new way - allowing her to match up to the movie version.

18:27 Negasonic Teenage Warhead: the character is named after a Monster Magnet song (with one of the most 90's videos ever). The band made quite a few comic book references in their songs, so the writers returned the favor when naming a (very minor) character in one of the X-Men-related titles.
In the story, I think it was Kitty Pride/Shadowcat who commented, "Wow. We really *have* run out of code names, haven't we?"

In the old comics, Colossus was a big guy in his human form. When he transformed into his metal form he was even bigger. They also really played up the Boy Scout image, maybe too much.
That's probably the main thing that I didn't like about this version of Colossus, he looked great but I didn't really like how he was in this movie, if that makes sense.
@@indiajohnson Same. They made him comic relief. Even the old Colossus would have been able to handle Angel fairly easily. He wasn't just strong but trained to fight and had a lot of experience.

Negasonic is not a real X-Man. She was a one off character introduced like two panels before Genosha was destroyed killing over 15 million mutants. But she came back later. They always come back. However, she was never on one of the teams. But also multiverse. That's all in the 616 comic books.

Congrats on the weight loss. I have cut out all sugary foods and maintain mostly a fat and protein diet now. Contrary to what most people believe eating fat does not make you fat. Eating too much sugar makes you fat because your body is always burning sugar it never gets around to burning fat. Cut out the sugar and your body will automatically start burning fat the way its supposed too. Best of luck with your journey and keep up the reaction. You never fail to keep me entertained LOL 😉
