My rear defogger in my Sonic (sedan) stopped working. The light comes on and the heated mirrors work. I checked the fuse, but it was not blown. The grid was not damaged. I seen that the passenger side tab broke off. I reattached it using epoxy. I used the Frost Fighter Defroster Repair Kit to glue it back on.

Good video, had the exact same problem on the same side. Thanks
The body trim panel that you're working behind can be simply unsnapped by pulling on the front side. (That panel is called "Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel", see www.csmans.com/body_lock_pillar_upper_trim_panel_replacement_sedan_-1264.html).
Removing that panel makes it much easier to work on this, and there's no need for the cool "snake camera" or tying string around the connector.
