I watched this video and my TV still wouldn't turn on ! I tried unplugging everything that was plugged into it like my xbox and amazon stick and then unplugged the TV. Then waited a minuet then plugged back in and it turned on ! Hope this helps someone !!!
Pulling the plug works to remedy the power freeze, but have to wait about 5-10 minutes before plugging back in...as though a static charge needs time to dissapate...

@@paulschimmenti2051 I didn’t find a fix yet. I have tried changing the power supply board and the main board and it didn’t fix it. I’m going to try changing the TCON board and if that doesn’t work, I give up.
Against all odds I switched plugs and the TV started working. Power was already getting to the TV as the green LED light was on so this was very surprising
I have a lc-58q7370u sharp TV. Only One button on the bottom left the is a power button and standby light. TV shutoff and won't power back on. STANDBY flashes twice. I've unplugged it for 2,5 and 10 mins and nothing. Any ideas?

Well if you took the batteries out of the remote then pressing power on the remote would be useless
You hold the buttons down to get rid of any residual electricity still in the circuit board etc@@davidwreschner

Mine turns on for a brief second and you see the sharp roku logo and it goes right back off and I have to unplug the tv for it to happen again
