It’s covered in the comic, but Rocky just sorta dragged Freckle into this line of work, and Freckle was too ashamed to refuse because of some kind of event that hasn’t been covered in the comic yet, but it’s the reason Rocky was kicked out of his Aunt’s house as a teenager.
I like to think of the comics as a prequel to the pilot and seasons. Tho it could be possible they rewrite certain events or characters. Either way I’m down for it

Id really suggest reading the comic, obviously the art is amzing but it could answer some questions you have on characters backgrounds, as far as i know tracy has said the animated pilot exists in a bubble outside of the comic story, im not sure what story the animated show is gonna have but i say its a safe bet its either before or after the comics story or in its own bubble story, (most likely the first) sorry for rambling, but id still suggest readin the comic,for video or off video. If theres a reason ur not, curious what it is

I’d love to see you check out the comic. I know the first few chapters have been dubbed, but most hasn’t to my knowledge. The official channel also has some dubbed comics on it (non story related, but still really cool)

I would probably stick with the comic on the website. Some comic dub channels hasn't really completed the dub and all the pages. And it might be hard for a new comer to lackadaisy to follow unofficial dubs in order. Cause all the ones ive seen just take tiny bits from the comic in no particular order.
