I love how things change boarding school seems more fun in today’s world. When I was there the 6th formers loved to tell us horror stories my favorite was how the juniors or 3rd form would have to warm the outdoor toilet seats for them very cold to sit down on in the winter

@alismilesatu someone who has a sports scholarship. You have to apply for them before you go to a school and it's basically just recognition of you standing out in a particular field.

No, only some independent (day&boarding) have Saturday school, not all.
Only independent schools do, not state schools. It also depends on the age and type of independent school also.
