How would you like to see this truck be built? We'd love to hear your ideas!
Keep the body natural. Clean it up and put a clear coat on it. Some shiny cragers from the 70's. Nice tires. And a good 350 4 barrel Chevy engine.
I would keep going in the direction of just up date everything. Don't paint it get rid of the red rims change the steering wheel.
I would love to see it get a little love from you guys..I would love to find something like that up in Virginia
Like a old service station parts getter
since the bed can be lowered..getting items off and on the bed, would be nice to a bed filled with items that would help "Dig" out new finds in the fields. Chainsaws, picks, shovels, temp tires, to fill in ruts left by tries etc..
That guy that sold the truck seems like a real solid dude.....great model citizen 👍👍👍🇨🇦
What an open and honest testimony from this young man. I think he was honestly asking a decent price for both at $3k, you guys got a great deal.
Great episode Lance! I will miss this truck, but I hope to see it driving soon and who knows, hopefully my wife and I get to buy it back one day! That would be special
Loved your testimony brother! It takes a real man to stand up for Jesus! I too love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Thank you brudda for professing Jesus as your Saviour so many folks even some who watch these videos need to Hear That Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings !! I know that the Bush family professes Jesus and I love them for that it was just great to hear your testimony!!!!
I think everyone has the right to believe whatever they want however, as someone who doesn't share your beliefs ( I don't believe in gods, the supernatural etc) my heart did break slightly when you cited religion as a reason for giving up something you loved.
Brian that was The Holy Spirit working within you Jesus is calling you and saying son come home to Me . You have every rite to walk away or run to Jesus He is a gentleman He will not force you to believe in Him, just know these 2 things no Jesus no peace know Jesus know peace and 100 years from now it will absolutely matter my prayers are with you Brian
@@bitlittle457 I know that probably sounded really profound in your own head but no. The reason my heart broke a little was I recognised his story. Before I was indoctrinated in to religion I had hobbies that gave me pleasure. I was a fisherman and quite an accomplished musician.
Like the OP I too attributed these things as "keeping me from hanging around with the wrong type of friends"
Unfortunately, like the OP I was also convinced by other people that religion was the way, like the OP I also substituted my projection from hobbies to the supernatural.
Nearly two decades on when I can see no good reason to believe any of it is true and with a profound sense of having wasted 20years of my life I find myself rekindling my love affair with my hobbies.
What a great testimony from Wilie. I wish him countless blessings in his life.
I had a 49 5 window and I had a 350 4 bolt engine late model rear end but I used all the original front end with late model hubs so it was five lug all the way around. Had dual gas cans on the running boards, and bucket seats. It would pass everything except the gas station lol. It would do 130 mph with the speedometer not operating correctly had a visor over front windshield and the wing window doors. I love that truck so that when I got married it was our truck!
I had started it from the frame and lowered the frame by playing with leaf springs so it was down low and not so slow. I love it.!
Son this is possibly one of the best videos ya'll have ever posted!! To hear that young man's testimony just pulled at my heart!! Great job ya'll keep up the great work.
I'm with Willy. I truly think this was a God thing. I would like to see a nice cream color with a little bit of chrome.
The best part of this video- "When Jesus got ahold of my heart" Praise God for His transforming grace!
I love the stories behind these cars u guys find thier just as neat as the car themselves may God continue to bless u
Great faith message for me today. A blessing. Thanks. Looking forward to see you in person soon rob from montague
I love the story connected to this truck and the personal story of the owner. I'm looking forward to seeing more on this restoration.
Hallelujah, what a Saviour!
First, let me say that I to believe that this was a deal made by God. I so enjoy being a part of this channel . It is a trus Blessing to enjoy all of your videos.
I too would enjoy watching you guys restore this truck. I love these old trucks. Looking forward to what is yet to come on this project.
Thanks for sharing this with us
I would really like to see this truck back on the road again 🙏🏿🙏🏿
Hey y’all, Razzel, Dazzel, Brazzell, from Ohi.
Love y’all show, what a blessing it is to a show like y’all.
No drama and no cursing.
I like all your videos and I’m also a subscriber. Awesome show. May the Lord bless y’all.
I'd love to see this old gal finished the same way the seller wanted too have it done 👌👌👌
These trucks are so cool. I am trying to build one now. I hope to have it drivable in the next year. Keep up the good work and May God Bless you all.
Good luck with that old school 52 truck. And God bless you all.
Restore the old girl she is a beauti in disguise thanks for sharing this story and your Dad and sister are great👍
Two cool trucks, would like to hear that engine running again, recover the seats, fix those air bags and install new pickup bed flooring. Love the look as it is. Also for that parts truck, would like to hear that engine run again and see what else it needs to get it rolling again.
I can’t wait to see how you build this truck
Buddy of mine had a 54 or 55. Black. Had a visor over the front window. Very cool.
His heart is bound to the real treasures of life!!!!!
This truck has a great story and I know I might be jumping the gun but I think a good name for this truck would be "wedding bells"!
Every time I come to this channel I want to pray and give my whole heart to the lord!
I had a Vietnam Vet buddy who had a 52 with a inline 6, and one of those water cooler window units for A/C. He would re-paint it every so often with brown primer. Looked similar to this one. I think finishing it the way he was heading with it would honor his vision, with your suspension mods and engine work. Too bad the parts truck isn't good enough for a 2nd project, they could be cousins.
I love the 50s trucks!! They were so sleek, and beefy!!!!
I have a 52 Chevy 5 window. Excited to see this build.
I hvave a 52 Chevy 5 window the body is in good shape but the motor is in the bed of the truck. How much should I sell it for
Thanks for helping Country Boy Gas Garage.
hi guys i realy like the truck cannot wait for you guys to get stuck in give it the restored magic touch and it come back to life all the best guys
Hey guys well it’s a nice truck and it’s a open canvas i am sure what ever you guys come up with We Will love it 👍
Yes sir I would like to see you guys spend a little time and a little money in trying to get this truck rolling. I think it's worth the effort considering the age of it.. thanks,👍🏻😉
Love this truck, think id just button and bolt it all up clean the interior and drive as is 😊👍🏾 great video guys
I think it got good potential to make a good running truck, I love you all
Can’t wait to see more on this truck God bless guys!
Its gotta good start on it and would be nice to see it go at least to the next level
Love it. A testimony to boot. God Bless.
Cool old truck I like them old trucks love the 5 window cab looks pirty good
Yea young man seem like a real young gentleman...
Prime Time Friday Video!!! sit back and enjoy!!! Thanks guys!
Awesome story... I feel how the seller feels and we all can learn a little from his testimony.
I have a bone stock 52 still with the 6 volt system its an absolute joy to drive love these old trucks
At least you didn’t have to dig this one out of a hole or cut down any trees to get it. Great redemption story!
God I love the patina and laid out look on these trucks now a set of Detroit steel wheels are needed for it!!!!
I had a 52 and sold it.Wish I had another one to work on.I enjoy your channel and I will be following what you do with it.
Awesome video as always. Nice to see y’all Lance, Wyatt & Christian. Can’t wait for next video. Greetings from California.
Looking forward to this episode
The most important thing in your life is Jesus Christ...this guy has nailed it!!! Lance, I'm so glad you & your Dad purchased this truck!! God did intervene here!!! We sold a car with trailer this past weekend....I know the feeling of watching it being pulled away!
God Bless!!
Thanks for another great video brother’s !!
I'm not much of a fan of dropping it to the ground but big wide tires is the coolest
I used to have a lowrider 94 S10 that me and some friends of mine built. Always fun to build your own lowrider.
Man I am humbled by this young man’s testimony.
Tried buying one of these from a guy a few years back... But couldn't talk him out of it... Even though it just sat there for years... Would love to see this beauty filling in her own, and keep the patina!!
I can't wait to see this build
Well, the direction it was headed was ok. But it needs a lot of love all over! I think the patina is right for what ever you do. The engine is a big concern and the trueness of that frame. All in all though, I think you have a winner! Thanks for the Great video!
Just need it running and driving and back in one piece and then find it a new home
Give someone the opportunity to finish it how they might like to 😍😍👍👍
nice truck can't wait to see the 52 restored.
Such nice polite people and great trucks. Very positive to watch
Cool find Lance I am not much of a ratrod fan I like mild custom restorations .
This is a Very good price for this truck ( they are selling for lots of $$) ... I Really appreciate his Testimony !! ... btw the parts truck is between 1947 -50 the one piece window went away for 51 & the door handles changed in 1952 to the push button type.
Started following y’all a few days ago. Just bought me a 48 project like this one and will be following your channel for ideas. So far I like what I see on your channel great content and very well explained 🙏🏼💯💯
I'd love to see it get on the road. Whatever you decide it's gonna be great to see what direction you take it
I think the truck should keep the rat look on the outside but be super smart on the inside. Also Willy's idea of using the doors of the parts truck is the way to go. Great video guys. 👍
You know I watched this video and enjoyed it and figured I be good with watching the rebuild step by step... and be good with that whatever you do. Took a nap and woke up up and found myself thinking about it and had some thoughts of my own... and so sending these thoughts on. The thing is they are popular and you can find dozens and dozens of these rebuilds all over the place.... but the point being most all are basically the same. This has a particular nice patina going for it... but... not much else as is different than all the rest. So my thoughts and not sure what or how... but be cool to see you do something totally wild... radical... different than what we see out there. Something y'all are known to do... maybe chopped... and sectioned... real short box... hot engine... be a lot of extra work in case you're just thinking of getting it done and move it on... but hey really comes down to you and how much y'all want to put into it... but blessing to whatever you do, do.
What a deal one parts truck one truck with alot of potential cant wait to see what come of it..
love these old trucks! Great save
Never been into rat rods , I would personally like to see a top notch paint job
Great seller’s life story!! 🙌🏻👍🏻
Love you guys. From MamaCard in Florida!
I LOVE THE NEW TRUCK!! ....I ALSO LOVE THE PARTS TRUCK!! THAT'S A BUILDER WHERE I COME FROM! (EAST COAST)
you guys are awesome and no you are going to get that truck running perfect I would like to see the person when you finish
For sure a patina paint job with alot of clear
Awesome truck.
You're not gonna find one under 10k here in Tennessee lol what a steal. Can't wait to see it dragging 😎🤘
i'd like to see you guys restore the old 52 back to the way it was from the factory
i watch a lot of towing and recovery videos i see a lot of towing companies that use a car haulers they buy what they call scates looks like some sorta composite material they put in front of the wheels that don't roll and they slip under the tire and slide on the trailer real easy you might want to look into some it also makes sliding the vehicle from side to side easy as well
you got a steal of a deal, awesome looking project and great to see both people happy with it.
Great story
A few years ago I built my 48 and the prior owner had put the truck on a 69 Chevelle frame. No need to lower, just alot of metal work to make it look right
Nice to see some content great work keep them vids coming 1 a week would be great
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
Nice find, can’t wait to see you finish it up and put some of your style into it.
Oh man, I love this truck. I wish I lived closer to you guys.
Another Great One Restored! 👍 I Love the Old Chevy Pickups! I use to have a 53 5 window but sold it many years ago. Regret that one...lol. I think keeping the truck in the direction it was already going! Patina outside on air bagged Hot Rod! Thanks for Everything you do Restored! 💖🙏💖
Like that old Ford 8N. Nice find and some great history to go along with it. 👍🙂
Little trans fluid on your trailer will make those tires slide easier to get on
Excellent video RESTORE crew :) also fix up complete 1952 5 windows one also get road worthy and paint up too ! Be interesting see more videos on too and older one see parts may need and flip for parts value too !
My Grandfather had old Chevy pickup . I wish I would of bought of him. ..LOLGood looking old Chevy for sure...
it's a win win
I love those old trucks
Thats a pretty good deal considering the money he had in it. . He had alot more in it in parts and time than that
We need to get you guys back in action. You're one of the ones my wife really likes watching with me, especially when it's a rescue fro a field or the woods. Trust me, she is gone that easy to please.😅🤣😅
Can't wait see more of this
The parts truck would make a great builder
I absolutely love that truck , I'd definitely do it up 👍👍
God bless you guys custom truck would be nice but expensive
Great vid, really enjoyed!! 👍👍👍
Great looking truck and body style ... My vote is to brighten up and protect the patina just as it is.
